Six teens including a suspected intoxicated 13 year old driver sent cops on a high-speed chase on Interstate-18 in Portland. Use of police road spikes caused the car to stop and crash. The driver booked and returned to his grandparents.
This is another sign of parent-less teens along with a a City that permits all kinds of low-level lawlessness (trespassing, protests vandalism, open drug use).
Progressives see it a different way. Erika commented online, “This is why funding schools is important by the way! Studies show that children who do after-school activities are less likely to become criminals “.
For liberals taxes is the only answer to every problem.
Yet the Oregonian noted that as school funding boomed — test scores fell.
