The Christian church in Armenia, one of the oldest Christian civilizations in the world, is being persecuted by the Islamo-Marxist nation of Azerbaijan and by the Armenian government itself, explains Armenian human rights lawyer Harry Kassakhian to The New American’s Alex Newman for Conversations That Matter.
While President Donald Trump’s peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a tremendous accomplishment, concerns about enforcement are growing, as Azerbaijan has a long history of breaking their own laws, Kassakhian explained. Perhaps most alarming, the European Union and the U.S. government have encouraged, funded, and supported the domestic attacks on Christianity in Armenia.
