Leftist celebrities have been raging left and right over President Donald Trump’s peace talks with Russia and Ukraine, accusing the president of having gotten run over and of leaving Ukraine in a worse-off place.
Take former “Star Trek” actor George Takei, who on Monday accused Trump of being a “weak ass president.”
Trump would concede at the table what Russia could not take on the battlefield. Americans should not accept this from this weak ass president.

Takei also suggested that Trump intends to hand over Ukrainian territory to Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of a peace deal.
In reality, the Trump White House is currently considering selling Ukraine $100 billion worth of American weapons financed by Europe, according to the Financial Times.
Ukrainian officials reportedly shared a document containing details of the proposal during a White House meeting on Monday.
“The document does not state which weapons Ukraine is asking to procure as part of a deal, but Kyiv has been clear about its desire to buy at least 10 US-made Patriot air defence systems to protect its cities and critical infrastructure, along with other missiles and equipment,” the Times reported.
Next up is longtime TDS victim Barbra Streisand, who on Monday wrote that Friday’s meeting in Alaska between Trump and Putin was “embarrassing.”
After his embarrassing meeting with Putin, one can hope Trump stands with the democratic allies in NATO and supports Ukraine.

The public appears to disagree. Following the meeting, the president’s approval rating reportedly “surged.”
“According to polling by InsiderAdvantage, 54 percent of voters said they now approved of the president while 44 percent disapproved,” Newsweek reported Monday.
“Trump’s net +10 percent approval rating is an increase from the publication’s last poll in July, which gave him a net +2 percent approval rating—with 50 percent of respondents approving and 48 percent disapproving,” the reporting continued.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent would also likely disagree with Streisand. On Tuesday, he in fact praised Trump’s meeting with Putin.

“Alaska was a show of force by President Trump,” he said. “[Trump] invited President Putin to land that the Russians used to own. He displayed a huge amount of military hardware and then did a flyover,” Bessent said Tuesday on CNBC.
“It was kind of like inviting your uncontrollable neighbor to your house and showing him your gun case,” he added.
Meanwhile, former “General Hospital” actress Amber Tamblyn wrote that it’s “so clear and obvious” that Putin has something “over Trump” — “something big, that’s for sure.”
As proof, she linked to a memo from MSNBC lunatic Rachel Maddow.

Former “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill, another longtime TDS victim, glommed onto a similar narrative by bringing up both the bogus Epstein allegations against Trump, as well as the infamous “pee tape.”

And lastly is actress Mia Farrow, who decided not to complain about the peace discussions themselves but rather about the White House’s décor during the peace talks.
“Good lord! Look what Trump has done to our White House! Tasteless kitsch,” she wrote on the left-wing echo chamber Bluesky in response to a photo of Trump and a suited-up Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy meeting at the White House.
