Is it really fair to ask people to subsidize your legal defense when you’re being investigated for mortgage fraud?
Sen. Adam Schiff thinks it is and so he formed the excitingly named Senator Schiff Legal Defense Fund to pay his legal costs, most of those presumably being the hourlies of his lawyer, Preet Bharara, a maniac former US Attorney who nearly got us into a conflict with India and whose accomplishments include trying to drive the deli featured in When Harry Met Sally out of business (because a whole lot of his actual famed convictions were thrown out.)
The Senator Schiff Legal Defense Fund shares a D.C. post office box with such progressive causes as…
Powered by People is composed of thousands of volunteers across the country who register, stay in touch with and help turn out the voters who will help decide the most consequential elections of our lifetime.
Bold Majority PAC where we envision a society where middle-class American values prevail, where everyone has equal opportunities, and where justice and fairness are the cornerstones of our political system. Our mission is to support candidates and causes that will allow a Democratic majority to win control of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
