Israel, Defender of the Free World

 Americans admire a people who can scratch a desert and produce a garden. The Israelis have shown qualities that Americans identify with: guts, patriotism, idealism, a passion for freedom. A recent comment on a Substack page sparked not only fury, but rage.  Normally I ignore these Jew hating creeps and move on, but a Vietnam veteran attacked both Israel and America. It is infuriating when someone from my own era writes about their overwhelming hatred of the two countries who have given so much to the world.

Of course, we know that Israel and America both have Deep State creatures within their governments, but this veteran, like so many others, has fallen prey to the lies and propaganda of barbaric savages.

Here is what he wrote, I surmise he didn’t do well with English grammar:

“I was a marine corps grunt in the vietnam war 1967-1969. The things the united states does to other people is horrifying. The united states and Israel are the main terrorist organizations in the world. Just look at the slaughter. The genocide in Gaza, where more than 200000 people are dead. Women children men killed. In the united states is paying for it all. We are a sick country.”

Genocide in Gaza? I beg to differ. The genocide occurred on October 7^th in Israel. I responded with the following:

“There is no genocide in Gaza…you have fallen prey to the propaganda of Qatar who funds Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis and ISIS, with great thanks from the number one terrorist nation in the world, Iran. If you don’t believe my words, read Gen. Michael Flynn’s book, Field of Fight. Please don’t listen to Hamas’ lies. Taqiyya is the term the Islamists use for their ‘religious’ reasons for lying to infidels. They laugh at us for believing anything they say. They make movies of their ‘dead’ people. We’ve watched videos where their dead get up and walk away while washing the fake blood off themselves.

“Israel doesn’t bake babies in ovens in front of their raped mothers and slaughtered fathers. Israel doesn’t choke infants and toddlers to death like they did to those adorable Bibas’ babies. Watch the pictures of the films the Hamas savages and the Palies took on Oct. 7th. Listen to the phone call of the teenager calling his mother in Gaza and telling her that he killed 10 Jews that day.

“Israel is the most moral army in the world; they treat and care for Palestinian children at no cost in Israel’s hospitals. Did you read about the one child whose head was disconnected from his spine and they thought he would die, I think he was 12 years old. The Israeli doctors saved him and reattached the spine and he walks and is fine today.

“The world demands that Israel feed the Gazans, even though their elected leaders launched a brutal invasion; moreover, it insists that Israel continue providing fuel, water, and electricity to Gaza during the hostilities. This is unprecedented in the annals of war.

“And let me ask you, during the Vietnam war, did we send 3 billion in food to the North Vietnamese? Did we send food to Germany and Japan during WWII? We did send planeloads of goods of all sorts, including tanks and trucks, butter and jewelry to Soviet Russia through the lend-lease program handled by communist Harry Hopkins who lived in the Lincoln bedroom and was an advisor to FDR…but we have never sent food to the nations we were fighting. Why do nations demand that Israel do something none of them would ever think of doing themselves?

“The food that has been delivered to Gaza is stolen by Hamas and sold for profit. No one seems to be really starving, but if the Gazans are truly hungry, they need to go to Hamas for their food because much of it has rotted before it’s even passed out.

“Now the western nations are voting for the Palies to have their own state. What do you think they have had since 2005? Did they create a beautiful home for themselves and enjoy the Israeli land that was given to them? No, they destroyed everything Israel gave them, and they spent all their time digging tunnels and sending bombs into Israel. A state for the Palies? If these western nations think they deserve that, then why don’t they carve out a spot for them in their own countries? Because everywhere they go they create havoc and that’s why the Arab nations don’t want them either.

“Don’t be programmed by the lies…there are already far too many people who are fooled by the treacherous ones who want all infidels dead. Either we become Islamists or they will enslave or kill us. First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people. No one is talking about the massive slaughter of Christians and Druze, and the only one helping them is Israel.  She is fighting the wars for the free world.

“Instead of slandering her, we should be massively supporting her for if we do not, our America will end up like France, England, Germany, Canada and the other nations who have allowed these barbaric savages into their countries. The Islamist goal is world domination and throughout history they have slaughtered everyone who doesn’t bow to them.

“Israel is defending the Islamic infiltrated West, the very people trying to undermine Israel from another genocide.”

The veteran never responded, but a few others did.  I was pleased to see that nearly two dozen people agreed with me and several made their own comments.

Ely wrote, “You can’t convince the antisemites of this world. Assange? Carlson? They are henchmen for the savages.”

Israel and America Together

Few people know or understand that our first free trade agreement was made in 1985 with our Middle East ally, Israel!  America has profited and gained so much from her people.

U.S. firms have been a big part of the Start-Up Nation story, with U.S. companies establishing two-thirds of the more than 300 foreign-invested research and development centers in Israel.  Israeli firms represent the second-largest source of foreign listings on the NASDAQ after China – and more than Indian, Japanese, and South Korean firms combined.

From the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem:

“The U.S.-Israeli economic and commercial relationship now spans IT, bio-tech, life sciences, health care solutions, energy, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, defense industries, cyber-security, and aviation, to name just a few sectors.

“Critical components of leading American high-tech products are invented and designed in Israel, making these American companies more competitive and more profitable globally.   Cisco, Intel, Motorola, Applied Materials, and HP are just a few examples.

“Israel is home to more than 2,500 U.S. firms employing some 72,000 Israelis, according to an estimate by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Thousands more jobs are supported indirectly by these employers.”

Israel supplies America with more innovative ideas, inventions and creations than any other nation.  She is our strongest partner in research and development.

Israel Treats All Patients With Care

Israeli hospitals, such as Sheba Medical Center and Rambam Health Care Campus, have a policy of treating every patient equally regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity or nationality.  Sheba Medical Center is well known for treating patients from Gaza, the Palestinian Authority, and countries with which Israel does not have diplomatic relations.

Their efforts showcase the collaborative spirit and their humanitarian commitment. Israeli doctors strive to provide the highest quality medical care to all, and that includes people from the Arab communities even during ongoing conflicts.

The specific case I mentioned in my response involved Suleiman Hassan, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, who was airlifted to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.  He had a bicycle accident in which he was hit by a car.  He suffered what is known as “internal decapitation” or bilateral atlanto-occipital joint dislocation, meaning his skull was detached from the top vertebrae of his spine.

“The Hadassah Medical Center trauma unit performed a complex and rare operation lasting several hours to reattach Suleiman’s head. Dr. Ohad Einav, the orthopedic surgeon leading the procedure, said the surgery required using new plates and fixations in the damaged area. The medical team credited their success to their knowledge and innovative technology in the operating room.

“Despite having only a 50% chance of survival, Suleiman was discharged from the hospital with a cervical splint and is reportedly functioning normally with no neurological deficits. His father expressed immense gratitude to the medical staff for saving his son’s life.”

Western Nations Advocating Palestinian Statehood

If these nations think it’s such a good idea for Palestinian statehood, then why don’t they try giving them statehood in their countries for 20 years and see how it works.  Parcel out a piece of your land, France, England, Germany, Canada and Australia. Open your countries to these people and see what happens.

Egypt and Jordan don’t want them.  They’ve replied with staunch refusal.  Those countries claim that Israel wants to force a permanent expulsion of Palestinians into their countries and nullify Palestinian demands for statehood.  Can you blame Israel for wanting them to leave?  After 20 years of Hamas sending bombs into Israel, the slaughter of 1200 on October 7^th, 2023, the loss of over 900 IDF soldiers and this ongoing war, Israel has every right to want their own land back from these people.  The Lord promised the land of Israel to Abraham’s descendants, the Israelites, as an inheritance. This promise was made in 2000 BC.

In Nils A. Haug’s recent article, Here We Go Again – The West’s Palestinian State Fantasy, he states, “Only leaders completely sold out to extremist ideologies would persist in pushing a proposal so far detached from reality and so harmful to many people — starting with the atrociously governed Palestinians — that it is almost beyond comprehension.”

“A Palestinian state would, in addition, continue trying to conquer more of Israel’s historic homeland, and try to drive Jews out of it, as they openly vow to do…”

In 2005, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon ordered Israel’s disengagement from Gaza.  He believed that giving a piece of Israel’s land to the Palestinians would bring peace.  Instead, it brought 20 years of terror.  The cost has been exorbitantly high.  Gaza must once again be retained and controlled by Israel.

The world knows that there is never lasting peace with a people who have sworn to obliterate the Jewish people and occupy their homeland.  The declaration in the Hamas Covenant confirms slogans such as “globalize the intifada” and “from the river to the sea…”.

Israel knows this.

Unfortunately, the leaders of France, Canada, Germany, England and Australia aim to please their overwhelming population of Islamists. They are supporting the murderous intent of the enemies of civilization rather than standing by the one small country who is trying to save the free world.
