President Trump has announced he wants mail-in ballots eliminated. Quite honestly, that would be the best thing for our electoral system. Case in point, the latest ballot stuffing misadventure by a councilman from Hamtramck, Michigan.
A Michigan city council member was caught on camera stuffing an election drop box with apparent absentee ballots just days before he won his re-election bid in a local primary.
Hamtramck City Council member Abu Musa was seen in the passenger seat of a car on Aug. 1 handing stacks of paper to the car’s driver, who then dumped them into a nearby ballot box, footage obtained by Local 4 appears to show.
Musa held on to his re-election spot in the primary four days later on Aug. 5, beating out 11 other candidates with 1,129 votes.
But only 286 of those votes were cast on Election Day — with 843 being cast by absentee ballot, the Daily Mail reported.
This is yet another example of how this mail-in ballot system can be manipulated. Think about it. 286 people voted in person on election day in that city, but 843 voted by…absentee ballot?? Really? And now this news comes out regarding that very same election involving the city councilman who managed to squeak out that win.
But Democrats continually tell us the system ISN’T rigged. That no one would DARE break the rules. That the Republicans talking about this issue are making a mountain out of a non-existent molehill! Except, there are receipts. MANY receipts.
Again, I can tell you there are problems with this system. One, it is easy to game the system. Two, voter turnout has gone down in many places after mail ballots were implemented. Three, voting system machines can and have been hacked over the years. Four, someone can sign a ballot, but did that person actually FILL out the ballot? There’s no oversight in that respect.
Fifth, here in Colorado along with 17 other states, illegal aliens are given drivers licenses.
Colorado’s secretary of state office says it mistakenly sent postcards to about 30,000 noncitizens encouraging them to register to vote, blaming the error on a database glitch related to the state’s list of residents with driver’s licenses.
The office of Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold insisted none of the noncitizens will be allowed to register to vote if they try.
The news comes at a time of widespread skepticism — often unfounded — of voting integrity following the 2020 presidential election and as Griswold, who has touted her role as a national advocate for secure elections, seeks reelection in the November midterms.
The current system in place does not and I mean does NOT identify whether one who has a drivers license is here illegally or not. Which also means that the CO voter database doesn’t identify either. So how Jena Griswold’s office can continue to claim that no illegal has been A. registered to vote and B. actually voted is beyond comprehension.
President Trump has and continues to make his position on mail-in ballots abundantly clear.
President Trump unveiled plans Monday to sign an executive order claiming to “help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections” by banning both mail-in voting and electronic tabulation machines.
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES,” Trump declared on Truth Social.
The president did not provide any evidence to back up his claims that voting machines are “highly inaccurate.” Most voters live in municipalities where they cast paper ballots that are scanned by voting machines and are subject to multiple checks to ensure accuracy.
All systems are fallible. Every. Single. One.
For Democrats to claim that all voting systems are 1000% secure all of the time is gaslighting at it’s finest. For them to claim that no one would dare to game the system by filling out ballots that don’t belong to them is asinine. And then there are those who will blame President Trump or even try to claim he’s Putin’s puppet on this matter.
Yeah, because before Trump’s meeting with Putin last Friday, Trump has never mentioned mail-in ballot fraud… pic.twitter.com/1x8lK4acAd

And then there are others who are rushing to the Constitution to claim he can’t do that thing. While ignoring the fact that he stated explicitly that he wanted to start a MOVEMENT. *Sigh, they just can’t help themselves. While others completely get it.
This is part of the pathway for Washington State’s return to sanity and stability. This is our state and we will no longer allow it to be pillaged and destroyed by leftists who hate God and the liberty that He has dreamed of and created for us to enjoy. https://t.co/Cmjw6RUVHi

The fact is, mail-in balloting has been no good for our electoral system. My home state of WY still has polling places. It’s great to watch people of all ages show up in droves to read through and cast their ballots. That’s something that young people today don’t grasp. It’s about more than filling those little bubbles. It’s about researching the issues, the candidates and more. It’s about realizing that YOUR VOICE is being heard and you are doing so personally and yet publicly by showing up to the voting booth.
Mail-in ballots have been detrimental to our political process. I’m with President Trump. I’m all for bringing back the polling booths.
