President Trump came into office with a sweeping agenda.
And Donald Trump made one bold move that could lead to his biggest win yet.
President Trump campaigned on ending the war in Ukraine.
Joe Biden bungled American into this war by playing footsie with Ukraine joining NATO, which precipitated Russia’s invasion.
Biden sought an endless war with Russia by providing a blank check of hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer money to fund the conflict.
President Trump shut that spigot off.
Trump ended sending American money and arms directly to Ukraine.
If Ukraine wants more arms, Europe will have to fund the war and pay for them.
But President Trump’s main goal was a peace deal.
To that end, Trump hosted Russian President Vladimir Putin for an historic summit at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.
Putin met Trump as B-2 bombers flew overhead.

Both Trump and Putin hailed the meeting as successful.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared the occasion a “great and successful day.”
The President also announced that he and Putin both agreed direct negotiations on a peace deal would be the best way to end the war and that he spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders about the path forward.
“A great and very successful day in Alaska! The meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia went very well, as did a late night phone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, and various European Leaders, including the highly respected Secretary General of NATO. It was determined by all that the best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a Peace Agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere Ceasefire Agreement, which often times do not hold up,” Trump began.
Trump revealed that Zelensky would be traveling to D.C. for an Oval Office meeting.
“President Zelenskyy will be coming to D.C., the Oval Office, on Monday afternoon. If all works out, we will then schedule a meeting with President Putin. Potentially, millions of people’s lives will be saved. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump concluded.
Zelensky is now the impediment to peace.
Axios reported that Trump had a “tough” phone call with Zelensky on the flight back from Alaska.
The President told Zelensky that the current state of affairs on the ground was the Russian military continuing to make advances and gain territory.
“Trump also told Zelensky that Putin had told him that Russia was making significant progress on the front lines and that if he wanted, he could capture the entire Donetsk region and other areas where fighting is taking place,” Axios reported.
Putin told Trump and his advisors that he would be willing to end the war in exchange for the territory currently under Russian control.
“The impression was that in return for territory, Putin is willing to end the war and commit not to try and occupy more areas in Ukraine and to not attack other countries,” a source with knowledge of the situation told Axios.
Zelensky has refused to cede land.
When Trump announced the summit with Putin, Zelensky tried to sabotage any potential deal by pre-emptively announcing Ukraine wouldn’t agree to trade land.
“The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will deviate from this—and no one will be able to. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier,” Zelensky ranted on social media.
But President Trump understands Zelensky doesn’t have much choice.
Trump told Fox News’s Sean Hannity in a post-summit interview that Russia was a “great power” with more military might than Ukraine.
“Make a deal,” Trump told Hannity was his advice to Zelensky.
President Trump hates war.
Trump routinely says his goal is to stop the killing of 7,000 people a week in this conflict.
President Trump has already ended six wars since taking office.
Trump admitted the Ukraine war is the toughest nut to crack.
However, President Trump sees a path to peace.
Will Zelensky agree to make a deal or defy Trump and try to keep the war going?
