White House touts departure of 1.6 million illegal aliens since Trump took office

President Donald Trump pledged during last year’s campaign that he would reverse the deluge of illegal immigration which occurred under his predecessor.

This week saw the release of new information which shows that the president is keeping his promise. 

Homeland Security secretary: 1.6 million migrants have left

According to Breitbart, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed in a social media post that migrants are fleeing the country.

“In less than 200 days, 1.6 MILLION illegal immigrants have left the United States population. This is massive,” Noem declared.

Local Democratic officials liken immigration enforcement to white supremacy

Fox News reported that Homeland Security is offering $1,000 to illegal aliens without criminal records if they present themselves for deportation.

Yet while Noem heralded the exodus of migrants, Fox News noted that high-profile Democrats have been quick to slam the president’s immigration record.

One of them is New York City Council Member Nantasha Williams, who likened ICE agents to white supremacists last week.

“When I look at the visuals of ICE agents masked on the street, taking people from their homes, taking people who are rightfully showing up for court. It reminds me of something that some of my ancestors had to go through, which is the KKK,” Williams was quoted as saying.

Fox News noted how Boston Mayor Michelle Wu made similar comments in June, stating, “I don’t know of any police department that routinely wears masks.”

Tim Walz says ICE is “Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo”

“We know that there are other groups that routinely wear masks. NSC-131 routinely wears masks,” she said in reference to Nationalist Social Club-131 (NSC-131), a neo-Nazi group.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz declared in May that ICE is “Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo.”

“They’re in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons. No chance to mount a defense,” the former Democratic vice presidential nominee asserted.

“Not even a chance to kiss a loved one goodbye. Just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared,” Walz went on to maintain.
