HBO host Bill Maher took aim at Hunter Biden on Friday, commenting on the legal threat posed by First Lady Melania Trump after the ex-first son made false claims about her introduction to President Donald Trump.
Maher said Hunter “better be worried” after Melania announced she would sue him for $1 billion.
“That’s not the joke part,” Maher told his audience on Real Time. “I really like this where she says she’s going to sue him for a billion dollars.” Maher added, “If Hunter loses, it’s going to be weird for him writing a woman a check because she’s not a prostitute.” The quip drew laughter and applause.
The lawsuit centers on a podcast video released by Hunter Biden on YouTube’s Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, where he claimed that Melania Trump was introduced to Trump by the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Both Trump and the first lady maintain that they first met in 1998 during New York Fashion Week at a party hosted by businessman Paolo Zampolli.
This contradicts Hunter’s claims linking the meeting to Epstein.
