PROVABLE LIE

In the early days of TBP I would tear apart the BLS reports for Unemployment and CPI on a monthly basis, showing how ridiculously manipulated the numbers were, to make our dire economic situation look far better than reality. I would prove our real unemployment rate was 15% to 20% and real CPI was 10% or higher. I eventually got tired of doing the same shtick every month and ignore these government propaganda reports for the most part. Anyone who believes inflation is 2.7% and unemployment is 4.1% are just willfully ignorant and essentially morons.

What grabbed my attention yesterday was the CPI report for July showed Electricity up only 5.5% versus last July and actually declining versus June. These numbers are provably false by a factor of 4. These are made up fake numbers created on an excel spreadsheet, which have no basis in reality. They are produced to give the appearance of price stability, when anyone living in the real world knows they are paying 10% to 25% more for just about everything needed to live.

I can prove how ridiculous their assertion electricity costs are up only 5.5% over last July and down versus June, using my online bill paying screenshots, directly from my banking app. As you can plainly see, my PECO bill for July is $345.77. My PECO bill for last July was $281.10. I actually used less Kilowatt hours this July, so that has no impact on the increase. That is a 23% increase over last July. Not even close to the BLS bullshit number of 5.5%. My June bill was up 15% over last year, so this is not just a blip. My $346 July bill was 24% higher than my June $278 bill, so the BLS assertion of a decline from June to July is also complete and utter bullshit.

We are being buried in a blizzard of lies from our government overlords. I always heed the words of George Carlin whenever someone from the government tells me anything.
