On this week’s episode of The Leave Us Alone Podcast, Grover Norquist was joined by ATR experts, Mike Palicz and James Erwin to discuss the immediate impacts of President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill on the American economy. Later, they sound the alarm on hidden regulatory threats to patents, credit scores, and banking.
Mike began the episode sharing an article from the Wall Street Journal which reported on American companies like AT&T already planning to reinvest billions unlocked by the bill’s tax cuts and other pro-growth revisions like interest deductibility and expensing. And the podcast agreed that legacy media barely covered the massive success and provisions of the bill despite the broad-based popularity among investors and workers alike.
Additionally, James covered regulatory changes the Trump administration has made to CFPB rulings while cautioning against risky lending and price controls which could lead to another 2008 financial crises. Additionally, Mike covered concerns about plans for the Commerce Department to levy taxes on existing patents, taxes which would likely harm innovation by discouraging R&D.
Lastly, the team celebrated a few more victories: the CPB plans on shutting down, and more states are reducing their income taxes.
Please listen, like, and subscribe to this episode if you are interested in the Trump tax cuts agenda and more the government can do to help everyday Americans.
Less regulation, lower taxes, and a freer market will lead the way forward to a better future for our nation.
