My electric bill from PECO for July arrived about a week ago. To my chagrin, it seemed awfully high. Since I pay these bills online I was able to go into the search feature and see what I paid last July. It seems this year’s bill is 26% higher than last year’s bill. And I used less Kilowatt hours this past July.
So, I do my part to save the planet and use less energy, but the corporate fucks and their government co-conspirators give it to me real hard with a massive increase in costs. Luckily, Trump will instruct his new head of the BLS to “adjust” these increases out of the CPI calculation. So reported inflation will remain low. Just doing our part to save the corporations, politicians, and media scum. So it goes.
