If you’re a jewelry store owner in California, here’s your friendly reminder: arm yourself. Because when criminals emboldened by Gavin Newsom’s soft-on-crime policies come knocking, you’d better be ready to defend what’s yours.
Case in point: the owner of Al-Amira Jewelry in Anaheim.
Surveillance footage from July 17 shows a gang of thieves storming the store around closing time, ready to pull off another smash-and-grab. But this time? They picked the wrong shop.
Watch the video here:
The unnamed store owner didn’t hesitate. One shot was all it took—and just like that, the thugs scattered and jumped back into their getaway cars empty-handed.
This wasn’t the first time this street saw action either.
Just a month earlier, another store right across the street wasn’t so lucky. At Besan Jewelry, thieves drove a vehicle through the storefront and made off with over $3 million worth of merchandise. No one stopped them.
So yeah—these crooks know where the real money’s at. But thanks to one armed patriot, they also learned that not every store is defenseless.
Newsom’s California might let criminals roam free—but at least one Anaheim business showed what happens when the Second Amendment is alive and well.
Let’s hope more follow suit.
