A has-been journalist from the old legacy media, Jeff Greenfield of ABC News, is trying to put lipstick on a pig, in the sense of whitewashing the communist and Jihadist views of self-described “Democratic Socialist” Zohran Mamdani. But in doing so Greenfield falls into the muck and mire by attempting to deceive the public about how the “socialists” are working with the communists and the Jihadists.
The American people have a right to know not only that Mamdani is a communist but a radical Jihadist-style Muslim of the Ayatollah of Iran variety.
On CNBC, the business channel, host David Faber debated Mamdani supporter, Senator Elizabeth Warren, over his economic and financial policies that are guaranteed to fail. But that’s only one small part of the story.
For the inside story of the communists and Iranian forces backing him, please read our FREE special report on our website. Then consider a donation so we can continue to probe the subversive and Islamic forces backing Zohran Mamdani in the mayor’s race.
Greenfield’s article never mentions the word “Muslim” because of course that would constitute “Islamophobia.”
Like others in the media, he is a coward, afraid to tell the whole truth.
This omission is significant. In a major report for our group, former KGB officer Konstantin Preobrazhensky noted, “The communists have considered Islam their ally from the very beginning, because in the early 20th century, Islam was the religion of the ‘oppressed people.’ Support of Islam was considered a part of Russian-based anti-colonialism.”
He said it was very significant that Vladimir Lenin in December 1917 addressed his second message, delivered just after coming to power, to the “Toiling Muslims of Russia and East,” and that the Bolshevik communists “considered Muslims a reservoir of people for the world communist revolution.”
This alliance continues. For proof, I recommend my eyewitness report on the communist-organized “Free Palestine” rally in Washington, D.C. on November 4, 2023.
For this reason, Trevor Loudon and I recorded a program on the rise of Mamdani, entitled, Red Jihad Comes to NYC.
In Politico, Greenfield acts like a political adviser to this Jihad Communist, writing that if Mamdani is “looking for some guidance about how to thrive in the city, he might look back about eight decades to the most successful socialist to ever hold office in New York: a man by the name of Vito Marcantonio.”
Greenfield maintains that Democratic Socialists (like Mamdani) are much different than Marcantonio, who was sympathetic to the totalitarianism of the Soviet Union and was in fact “a devoted follower of Moscow.”
Greenfield ignores the fact that Senator Bernie Sanders, also regarded as a Democratic Socialist, is known as “Bolshevik Bernie” because he spent his honeymoon in the old Soviet Union. The name of Bernie Sanders appears on a list of speakers at the 10th anniversary conference of the Soviet front U.S. Peace Council, held in Boston, Massachusetts, November 10-12, 1989. Other names were Zehdi Terzi of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Gunther Dreifahl of the East German “Peace Council.”
No less a figure than Vladimir Putin declared that “the Democratic Party is traditionally closer to the so-called liberal values, closer to Social Democratic ideas, if compared to Europe,” and that “it was from the Social Democratic environment that the Communist Party evolved.”
Talking to his interviewer, a Russian reporter, Putin added, “…you are a young man, but people of my generation remember a time when huge portraits of Angela Davis, a member of the US Communist Party and an ardent fighter for the rights of African Americans, were on view around the Soviet Union.”
This is the same Angela Davis whose works were studied by Mamdani when he attended Bowdoin College, according to the book by Cindy C. Kenney. Davis recently received an honorary Doctorate in Letters from Cambridge University, the home of the Cambridge Five, a network of communist spies in Britain.
Of the Cambridge Five, the most damaging spies in British history, the only one who was not gay was Kim Philby.
Angela Davis, who received the Lenin Peace Prize, came out as a lesbian and vegan.
A leader of the DSA in the Washington, D.C./Maryland area is Kurt Stand, who was convicted of being a communist spy for the Soviet Union (and then Russia) and East Germany. He was sentenced to prison in 1998 and released in 2012 after being convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage, attempted espionage, and illegally obtaining national defense documents.
His wife was a member of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism and was also convicted of spying for East Germany. The Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism was itself a spinoff of the Communist Party USA, once funded by the Soviet Union.
This is what the DSA is all about.
Greenfield said that if Mamdani is “looking for some guidance about how to thrive in the city, he might look back about eight decades to the most successful socialist to ever hold office in New York: a man by the name of Vito Marcantonio.” Greenfield acknowledges that Marcantonio was elected to Congress “despite holding views much farther to the left than anyone who has ever won public office in New York” but does not provide the full story.
My friend and associate, the late Herb Romerstein, wrote a major report, “From Henry Wallace to William Ayers – the Communist and ‘Progressive’ Movements,” which provides the important background about Marcantonio and explains how the communists worked with the “socialists.”
He noted that John Abt, a Communist Party attorney who had been active in the espionage apparatus, revealed the names of Communist members of Congress. In his autobiography, Abt said, “The two Communists who were elected to Congress-Johnny Bernard from Minnesota and Hugh DeLacy from Washington State were elected as Democrats. Vito] Marcantonio, who was a friend of the Party but never a member, was elected as a Republican, a Democrat, and as the ALP [American Labor Party] candidate. “
In its report to Moscow on its role in the 1940 elections, the Communist Party USA had said that “One of the most significant results of the Congressional elections was the fact that the Party played the main role in bringing about the re-election of Congressman Marcantonio,” who was also the head of the International Labor Defense, a communist front.
So when Greenfield implies that politicians “in the camp of democratic socialists,” like Mamdani, had “no sympathy for the totalitarianism of the Soviet Union,” he is ignoring how socialists and communists work together. He is also ignoring Mamdani’s identification as a Shia Muslim associated with the “Twelver” movement of apocalyptic Muslims that constitute the state religion of Iran, a regime working with Moscow’s backing to restart their nuclear weapons program.
