The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman and her two children.
Laura Reels, 43, was last seen in the Newport area on Friday. Police believe she is accompanied by her two children, 11-year-old Jeremiah Aaron and 10-year-old Curtis Fischer.
Reels may be driving a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer with North Carolina license plate “VER-1617.”
The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reels or her children to contact the Carteret County Emergency Communications Center at 252-726-1911.
