Noem says Democrats are fighting for illegals, not for Americans

This week, Democrats decided to go for a big photo op at a Maryland ICE office.

They were denied entry, and then they conducted a sit-in to grab some headlines.

Well, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her staff just responded, and they did not hold back.

Democrats were screaming from the high heavens that they were denied entry to the ICE facility

One of them even claimed that she was protecting her constituents, but illegal immigrants are anything but.

In order to be a constituent, you need to be able to vote, and while illegals have the right to due process according to our Constitution, they cannot vote, so they do not qualify as constituents.

After the stunt was followed by online posts from one of the participants expressing outrage over what occurred, DHS fired back, “Congressman, if you need a photo op with the violent criminal illegal aliens you are protecting — schedule a TOUR.”

The agency continued, “As for visits to detention facilities, requests should be made with sufficient time to prevent interference with the President’s Article II authority to oversee executive department functions—a week is sufficient to ensure no intrusion on the President’s constitutional authority.”

The statement added, “To protect the President’s Article II authority, any request to shorten that time must be approved by the Secretary.”

Noem also responded with a post on X to make everyone aware of precisely on whose behalf Democrats were advocating…

Among those participating in the sit-in was Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), the same senator who traveled to El Salvador to visit Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who is now being charged with numerous crimes, including human trafficking.

To defend himself amid that controversy, Van Hollen stated, “As I have repeatedly said, this is not about the man. It’s about his constitutional rights, and the rights of all.”

The lawmaker added, “The administration will now have to make its case in the court of law, as it should have all along.”

Strategists have openly stated that Democrats need to get off this hill, or they will continue to hurt the party in future elections, but they seem intent on taking up for illegals over American citizens.

And as long as they do that, they will continue to repel moderates and independents.
