A video circulating on social media shows the startling moment singer Katy Perry nearly fell off a stage prop while flying over a crowd mid-concert.
The 40-year-old singer was performing in San Francisco on Friday night on top of a butterfly machine while singing her hit song “Roar” when the prop appeared to malfunction.
“Sing it, sing it now,” Perry told the crowd moments before the mid-air prop appeared to drop.
Fans could be heard shouting as the former “American Idol” judge took a few seconds to regain her composure.
“And you’re gonna hear me roar,” she continued singing.
After the show, the singer shared a screenshot of her shocked face in an Instagram story with the caption “Goodnight San Fran.”
A rep for Perry told Page Six that the “California Gurls” singer is “good” after the mishap, sustaining only a minor bump.
