An activist group CEO recently revealed how much money he was offered to furnish protesters for anti-Trump demonstrations.
Adam Swart is the man behind the organization “Crowds on Demand.” According to the website, they are “your home for impactful advocacy campaigns, demonstrations, PR stunts, crowds for hire and corporate events.” It is effectively a place to hire protesters if you find that you don’t have enough grassroots support for your cause.
More from the website:
If you need to hire protesters, we can get a crowd on the street, sometimes within 24 hours time. If you need speakers to present at a council meeting, we can provide talented and well-spoken individuals to advocate for the cause. We also have a dedicated team of phone-banking staff who can call Congressional Offices and convince government officials to support your cause and help you overcome opposition. If you need lots of letters and emails written from constituents, we have a network of tens of thousands of individuals across the country who can send well-written constituent letters to their representatives.
We provide a cost-effective way to lobby government to pass or defeat legislation, push for approval of projects, and influence government in a grassroots manner. We are the ultimate guerilla lobbying and government relations firm.
On Tuesday, Swart was interviewed by NewsNation’s Brian Entin, where he admitted to being offered a whopping $20 million by “interests aligned with the organizers” of the upcoming “Good Trouble Lives On” protests.

“Have the organizers of the July 17th demonstrations approached you?” Entin asked Swart.
“Interests aligned with the organizers of the July 17th movement have approached us and in fact we’ve rejected an offer that probably is worth around $20 million-” Swart responded.
“$20 million?” the incredulous interviewer repeated.
“Correct, I mean this is a nationwide thing. That’s not to say I would have made $20 million personally but the value of the contract would have been worth around that amount nationwide to organize huge demonstrations around the country,” the CEO clarified. “But personally I just don’t think it’s effective. I’m not trying to call myself virtuous for rejecting it, what I’m saying is- I’m saying I’m rejecting it, not because I don’t want to take the business, but because frankly, this is going to be ineffective. It’s going to make us all look bad.”
Swart did not reveal the identity of those who approached him, but it’s safe to say they are not supporters of President Donald Trump.
The “Good Trouble Lives On” movement is looking to protest many policies enacted by the Trump administration on Thursday by staging massive protests across the nation. The aim is to engage in “peaceful, non-violent” action, but it remains to be seen whether anarchist elements will take advantage of the protests to engage in looting, vandalism, arson or any other criminal activity in the name of “resistance.”
