There is growing speculation that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is extremely displeased with the Department of Justice’s controversial memo regarding Jeffrey Epstein. Anonymous sources suggest that he has delivered a serious ultimatum to the White House: either remove Attorney General Pam Bondi or he will step down from his role.
Axios, referencing four sources knowledgeable about the situation, reported Friday morning that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was not present at work after a tense exchange with Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the management of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The Washington insider outlet observed that Bongino’s absence led to speculation regarding a potential resignation; however, a White House source promptly clarified that he continues to hold his position at the FBI.
This week, federal law enforcement published a memo stating that a “exhaustive review” of evidence regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City has definitively ruled out murder.
“After a thorough investigation, FBI investigators concluded that Jeffrey Epstein took his own life in his cell on August 10, 2019,” the memo indicated.
The agencies categorically rejected the notion of a “client list” associated with Epstein, directly opposing previous assertions made by Attorney General Pam Bondi. Bondi had earlier asserted on Fox News that a list was “sitting on my desk” for review, igniting speculation regarding Epstein’s purported blackmail of global elites.
By Friday afternoon, reports suggested that tensions between FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino and Bondi were intensifying, with the FBI official allegedly considering resignation if Bondi continues in her position. “A source familiar with Dan Bongino has informed me that it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he will not remain at the FBI if she continues at the DOJ,” tweeted Mary Margaret Olohan, The Daily Wire’s White House correspondent.
Independent journalist Julie Kelly supported Olohan’s reporting, stating on X: “Sources confirm to me the blow up between Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi is very real.” This situation has been developing for four months and reached a climax at the White House on Wednesday.
“He has not returned to the office since.” Much of the frustration directed at the FBI pertains to her management of Epstein disclosures and the disagreements between the FBI and Bondi regarding the way forward,” Kelly continued.
“Bongino seems poised to resign at any moment if Bondi continues to hold her position,” she added. Fox News reached out to the White House to inquire if President Donald Trump was pleased with Bondi. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt replied that the president is “proud” of his attorney general.
“The President takes pride in the attorney general’s dedication to advancing his Make America Safe Again agenda, reinstating the integrity of the DOJ, and delivering justice to crime victims,” Leavitt stated.
This Admin Already In Trouble,“The ongoing obsession with creating discord within President Trump’s cabinet lacks any basis in reality.”
On Tuesday, Trump brushed off inquiries regarding Epstein during a press interaction. “Are you still discussing Jeffrey Epstein?” “This guy has been the subject of discussion for years,” Trump remarked while fielding questions during a Cabinet meeting. “You’re inquiring – we have Texas, we have this, we have all of the elements, and are people still discussing this individual?” This unsettling individual? That is astonishing. I can’t believe you’re bringing up a question about Epstein right now, especially when we’re experiencing such significant success and tragedy with the events in Texas. It appears to be a violation of something sacred.
The President Takes Pride In The Attorney General’s Deceptions–MAGA Nonsense–When a culture misuses its democratic power, the outcome is disorder and devastation.
When a culture abuses its democratic power, the result is chaos and ruin. Either a democracy, guided by self-control and morality, keeps itself in check, or it crashes. When the crash happens, control falls to a non-democratic system, either willingly or by force. Cultures that drift from Christianity tend to drift from “true” democracy into other, democracy-flavored political schemes and, eventually, into subjection to tyranny…
