California Leftists Violently Clash with Feds as ICE Raids Pot Farm Allegedly Using Child Labor

Federal authorities clashed with violent leftist protesters on Thursday as ICE raided a pot farm north of Los Angeles employing illegal immigrants, who allegedly included ten children, eight of whom were unaccompanied.

ICE raids pot farms… 500 protesters clash with them

Agents descended on Glass House Farms in Camarillo, CA, which is a state-licensed cannabis facility. However, it is illegal under federal law. A federal warrant was served to detain illegal employees, according to Fox News. Another raid took place at Glass House Farms in Carpinteria.

Immediately when the raid ensued, individuals got into the faces of the agents. Authorities were forced to use tear gas, rubber bullets, and smoke bombs to drive them back. As other protesters arrived, the Feds used tear gas to push them back as well.

ICE agents blocked off a road leading to Glass House Farms in Camarillo, which is one of the largest growers of cannabis in the state, with over 5 million square feet on which the plants are grown.. A group called 805 Immigrant Coalition, which tracks ICE, shared video showing agents blocking the road in advance of the raid.

As the raid proceeded, military helicopters were seen flying low over the fields in an attempt to force people out from hiding.

Federal officers created a barricade on Laguna Road, a few miles south of Camarillo Airport, Thursday morning and blocked access to the site as protesters gathered at the scene, according to Oxnard Mayor Luis McArthur, who told SFGATE in a phone call that more than 500 protesters were at the scene. He said federal agents eventually fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd.

On cue, leftists scream persecution

“It is becoming increasingly apparent that the actions taken by ICE are bold and aggressive, demonstrating insensitivity towards the direct impact on our community,” Luis McArthur, who is the mayor of nearby Oxnard, charged in a social media post. “These actions are causing unnecessary distress and harm. I remain committed to working alongside our Attorney General and the Governor’s office to explore potential legal avenues to address these activities.”

Protesters get their violence on

And violence came along for a ride as well. Not only did antagonists physically confront agents, but they also threw things at them, and one guy was caught on video firing a gun at agents.

U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli announced that a $50,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the conviction of that suspect.

“FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo,” Essayli said on X. “The shooting occurred on 7/10/25 at approximately 2:26 pm on Laguna Rd between Wood Rd and Las Posas Rd.”

Four people were reportedly taken to the hospital, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. Three others were treated at the scene, Fox Los Angeles reported.

Several people were arrested. Some had been in the country illegally for more than 30 years.

Democrats scream bloody murder over upholding the law

“This is deplorable. This should not be happening on our soil,” U.S. Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) said in a video message after claiming that 50 ICE agents had arrived at the farm. “Individuals dressed like military personnel on our soil. We don’t do that in America.”

“This was overkill. This was ridiculous. This was a bunch of crap,” he contended. 

These raids follow earlier ones in Southern California this week that caused Democrats to implode.

One took place at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom railed over the actions of ICE and the Trump administration for going after illegal immigrants.

Following the raids on Thursday, Newsom flew into a rage on X, “Kids running from tear gas, crying on the phone because their mother was just taken from the fields,” the governor wrote in a post. “Trump calls me ‘Newscum’ — but he’s the real scum.”

Notice, however, that Newsom seemed to have no issue with underage children found at the scene working.

Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott responded to Newsom’s post.

“Here’s some breaking news: 10 juveniles were found at this marijuana facility – all illegal aliens, 8 of them unaccompanied. It’s now under investigation for child labor violations.”

Newsom also attacked White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, the architect of the administration’s tough stance on illegal immigration, in another X post, according to Fox News, “Instead of supporting the businesses and workers that drive our economy and way of life, Stephen Miller’s tactics evoke chaos, fear and terror within our communities at every turn.”

“At Miller’s direction, Trump’s agents continue to detain U.S. citizens and racially profile Americans, ripping families apart and disappearing parents and workers into cruel federal detention centers to meet their self-imposed arrest quotas,” Newsom continued.

And what meltdown by Newsom would be complete without resurrecting Jan. 6?

Bass is demanding that the federal government stop going after illegal immigrants in her city. She’s also inciting residents to protect illegal aliens from the Feds.

Los Angeles and eight other blue local cities are suing the Trump administration over the detention of illegal immigrants.

The lawsuit accuses the Trump administration, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and others, of violating the Fourth and Fifth amendments to the Constitution.

The lawsuit brands the recent immigration raids across Southern California as “unconstitutional,” claiming that agents regularly fail to identify themselves and racially profile targets, arresting them without warrants or probable cause, according to KTVU Fox 2 San Francisco.

The left makes a moronic claim

Naturally, leftists online came unglued, accusing the Trump administration of destroying the “backbone of our food chain.” Who knew that marijuana was the essence of our food chain? What a ridiculous, stupid argument.

The Daily Wire reported:

“ICE just swarmed Ventura County fields, hauling away the very farm workers who keep America’s produce aisles stocked,” wrote leftist political commentator Brian Allen. “We’re arresting assets; treating the backbone of our food chain like a threat. That’s not ‘border security.’ That’s self-sabotage in uniform.”

Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez, who represents parts of Los Angeles, reposted Allen on X, claiming that federal agents are targeting migrants picking strawberries.

“How many MS-13 gang members are waking up at 3 a.m. to pick strawberries? O’yeah, zero!” Gomez said. “Trump said he’d go after ‘bad hombres,’ but he’s targeting the immigrant farm workers who feed America. Either he lied — or he can’t tell the difference.”

Leftist social media influencer Harry Sisson, who gained a large following after making videos in support of former President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign, accused the Trump administration of “arresting farmers.”

“My god… Trump’s goons are throwing tear gas at people and arresting farmers in California during an immigration raid. Trump has turned this country into a military state,” Sisson said. “This is what happens when a wannabe dictator gets elected.”

After the White House got done laughing at those assertions, it tore into the leftists over them.

“Marijuana is not the ‘backbone of our food chain,’” wrote White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson.

“It’s a marijuana facility. What will we do without illegals to pick our weed? Moron,” the official “Rapid Response” account for the White House responded.

Border czar Tom Homan was asked about the raids as well, according to The Post Millennial.

“We’re looking for over 300,000 missing children,” Homan responded, “We’ve already found 10,000.”

“This should be a nonpartisan issue, arresting public safety threats and national security threats. Everybody should be on the same page on that, rescuing children, it should be a nonpartisan issue. Everybody should be in lockstep on that, but they’re not. The media’s line, the Democrats take: They don’t want President Trump to be successful,” he added.

This is just the beginning of the violence from leftists over illegal immigrants. The Democrats already have blood on their hands… now they’re getting ready to bathe in it.
