Welcome back to Day 173 of America’s liberation from the Biden*/Harris occupation! Since a week ago we celebrated America gaining its independence from England, let’s travel across the Atlantic to dive back into The Economist and remind ourselves why we kicked the Brits out. I submit to you:
Scrap the asylum system—and build something better
OK, this one actually makes sense – the main point is to create an asylum system in the first safe country outside of any war zones. Of course, the article calls for Western countries to pay for it (Never China or the oil rich Arab nations of course). But it’s better than the unlimited immigration policies of most Western leadership.
How America’s economy is dodging disaster
Um, maybe by voting the Democrats out of power? Duh.
What becomes of Republicans who cross King Donald?
LOL – Does The Radical Left have any idea of who looks worse when they repeatedly refer to President Trump as their King?
Zohran Mamdani, Trump’s “worst nightmare”, may really be a gift to him
Yeah, turning New York City into Caracas is probably the best advertisement that the Republican party could hope for. Then again, the west coast states and our cities haven’t figured it out – Maybe Don’t Mess With the Zohran could be the tipping point?
Why today’s graduates are screwed
In this entire article about the plight of graduates, the article ignores insane tuition costs, garbage DEI degrees, tuition paying for bloated admin staff, and college campuses becoming a hostile environment towards Normals. There is also no mention about how nobody working as a plumber or electrician is getting replaced by AI.
Donald Trump can call in the troops
Again, I have to give credit where it’s due – The Economist gets another one correct!
A new sort of unrest rattles Northern Ireland
Of course, The Economist just scolds anyone not enjoying the Cultural Enrichment (TM) being imposed by their rulers. PJM’s David Manney gave a more balanced take.
Where is it actually cheaper to drive an electric car?
Without tons of government subsidies, nowhere. They also ask the bizarre question of is it cheaper to drive a coal powered car.
Yeah, I think we’re better off without British rule.
Have a great week!
Finally! Evidence of not one, but up to 18 deaths of migrants in US custody, seven due to subpar care.
Oh, wait. It was from the Obama admin from 2012-2015.
