The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has canceled a statewide AMBER Alert for a child abducted after a double homicide in Auburn.
On Friday morning, police arrested 41-year-old Aaron Dontay Williams on suspicion of double homicide and kidnapping, according to OA News.
The incident unfolded when Auburn officers arrived for a welfare check at around 2:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Samantha Court. Assistant Police Chief Michael Harris said the officers broke into the home and found the bodies of 34-year-old Tyeisha Williams and 13-year-old Zynniya Wright
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency stated that another child, 3, was missing from the home. ABC 9 reports that the child has since been found safe.
