In a blatant overreach by the judicial branch, Biden-appointed Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong has issued a tentative decision that would block Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents from conducting necessary immigration enforcement operations in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. The ruling, set to be finalized tomorrow, would prevent ICE and Border Patrol from making arrests based on factors such as race, Spanish-speaking individuals, location, or type of work—effectively tying the hands of law enforcement while illegal immigrants continue to flood the nation under the Biden administration’s disastrous policies.
The lawsuit, spearheaded by the far-left ACLU, absurdly claims that Trump’s DHS engaged in “deportation dragnets” by targeting individuals based solely on skin color. But as the Trump administration’s DOJ has forcefully argued, all arrests are conducted in full compliance with the law, relying on surveillance, intelligence, and known hiring locations for illegal labor.
“The Trump administration DOJ denies this, saying all arrests are in accordance with the law and are based on the totality of the circumstances, including surveillance, intelligence, and locations where illegal immigrants are known to work or be hired,” Fox News reported.

This ruling comes at a time when ICE agents are under attack—both physically and politically—by leftist mobs, as seen during a recent raid at a Camarillo cannabis farm. While the liberal media paints ICE as villains, the reality is that these brave agents are doing the job the Biden administration refuses to do: protecting American communities from criminal illegal aliens.
Judge Frimpong’s decision, if finalized, would force DHS agents to have “reasonable suspicion” before making arrests—a vague standard that will only embolden illegal immigrants and their employers. This is yet another example of activist judges legislating from the bench instead of allowing law enforcement to uphold the laws passed by Congress.
