Disgusting: Trump Removes Syrian Al-Qaeda Offshoot’s Terror Designation

Add yet another action to the list of those which Donald Trump has lately taken to betray campaign promises or protect terrorist groups. After saving the world’s biggest terror-sponsoring regime (Iran) from annihilation so its terror proxies can continue to attack Americans and Israelis, Trump’s administration has now removed the terrorist designation of the genocidal jihadi group that took over Syria by committing atrocities for years, particularly against Christians, and also against Americans.

Trump is so enamored of the idea that he is the great peacemaker that he never stops to consider that, if you make peace with Satan, all you do is enable Satan to come back and destroy you another day. There are some enemies so evil you cannot make peace with them, because they are never going to stop trying to murder innocent people. We understood that during World War II, with the Nazis and the imperial Japanese, but since then we seem incapable of recognizing reality about evil regimes.

Islam explicitly commands the murder of non-Muslims, and giving material rewards to terrorists doesn’t make them stop being terrorists. Why should they? After all, the new leader of Syria broke into the jihad business by fighting Americans, imposed harsh sharia law, used the title al-Golani to signify his hatred of Israel, and is still overseeing persecution and massacres of Christians in his country, and yet is being rewarded beyond his wildest dreams by the American president. No matter how al-Golani renames himself or his jihad group, he is still a dictator and terrorist.

Until recently, we had a $10 million bounty on this man’s head because of what he and his al-Qaeda offshoot HTS had done. Now HTS is off the U.S. terror list, and Trump lifted sanctions on Syria. What incentive could al-Golani/al-Sharaa possibly have to change, when his atrocities are rewarded even by America?

For every Christian murdered by Syrian terrorists, for every Syrian abused and imprisoned or even killed under the sharia regime, the United States government under Trump is complicit. Islamic terrorism is the Holocaust of our day, and instead of fighting the genociders, American leaders are rewarding them. Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and their fellow officials are on the wrong side of history, and have the blood of innocents on their hands.
