So, it turns out climate change isn’t a top concern for most Americans… Who would’ve thought? Certainly not anyone with even a shred of common sense.
CNN just admitted the obvious: Americans have more pressing concerns than which way the wind blows.
Is it possible that the reason climate scientists—who often sound more like political activists—haven’t convinced Americans of this impending doom is because nearly every major prediction has failed to come true? Wasn’t the world supposed to end five times by now?
People don’t usually worry about catastrophic weather events that haven’t happened — that’s just not how it works. What’s even more irrational is that some make the most alarmist claims, expecting you to hand over your hard-earned money to the government in hopes of controlling the direction of the wind.
Just think about it — AOC says we’re all going to die. We don’t. Then she says it again, insisting the only way to survive is by handing over more of your money to the government. Yet, she’s shown no concrete evidence that the weather is going to kill you.
So why would anyone jump on that bandwagon?
Americans are also emerging from one of the worst inflation spikes in recent memory — a real issue that many have lived through and are still feeling the effects of. Meanwhile, CNN spent much of that time downplaying inflation, even referring to it as a myth. So, what are the American people more likely to be concerned about? Predictions about catastrophic weather events that haven’t happened yet, or the very real economic pain they’ve already experienced, like record-high inflation?
This is exactly why the left and much of the media have become largely irrelevant — they are completely out of touch with the real issues that matter to everyday Americans.
