After yesterday’s piece about professional ghoul Dr. Christina Propst, a UT reader emailed me, “You’ve been on fire lately. Thanks.”
No. Thank you for the attaboy. But I’d like to think he’s right, that I’ve been finding new ways to use reporting and analysis to explore the crises corroding medicine. Matt Taibbi is our leading countercultural writer on politics; I think Unreported Truths can be the same for healthcare and Big Pharma (and maybe already is).
The only hurdle: I like writing other stuff too1. But that’s a good problem to have.
In any case, I hope you will support my work. As a reminder, I plan to put through a small price increase for Unreported Truths soon, but sign up now and get 15 percent off the current price. Plus the chance to comment and read the entire UT archive. Like this piece about the hidden link between the mRNAs and diabetic emergencies.

(So why wouldn’t you?)

And if you sign up as a founding member (the $300 a year level) you can get this spiffy T-shirt, for founding members only! (Remember to send me your address and size. And if you signed up already and are waiting for your shirt, they’re coming… I promise. I may enlist my older daughter for logistics, we are negotiating salary.)

Okay, now the poll:
I’ve been asked to join a new weekly podcast with a couple of other heterodox (for lack of a better word, conservative doesn’t quite fit) thinkers.
I am on the fence, not because I don’t like the other hosts, but because there are sooooo many podcasts out there and I worry preparing for one properly will take several hours a week. It’s not just the recording, it’s discussing potential topics, reading material we send each other, et cetera. And part of me thinks if I am going to podcast, I should just do my own. On the other hand, that would be even more work.
Given that you all pay the bills, I figured I’d put the question to you: to podcast or not to podcast. I don’t promise to follow the results, but they will matter. And feel free to comment too.

All right, back to work… I just got a tip about another terrible Texas pediatrician. The stories write themselves (only they don’t).
Onward.
As you know, the AI engines in particular are fascinating me right now.
