Mark Levin and Tucker Carlson are two of the most popular talk show hosts in conservative media.
But the two are at odds.
And Mark Levin went on the warpath against Tucker Carlson for this ugly reason.
As American Media Watchdog reports:
Fox News host Mark Levin is a major supporter of war with Iran.
Donald Trump is an America First conservative who delivered a landmark speech in the Middle East about how the wars of nation-building only destabilized the region and backfired on America.
The President’s current project is negotiations with Iran to eliminate its nuclear weapons program.
The Trump administration’s Rapid Response 47 X account shared a clip of Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff (who is running point on the negotiations with Iran) stating that the “neocon element” inside the Republican Party is trying to undercut diplomacy and push America into another senseless forever war in the Middle East.
“The Neocon element believes that war is the only way to solve things. The president believes that his force of personality, the way he is going to respond to certain situations, can bend people to do things in a better way in the interests of the United States government. I believe in that too,” Witkoff stated.
Fox News host Mark Levin jumped down Witkoff’s throat, accusing him of being a domestic subversive.
“Lol. The envoy talks like the fifth column isolationists. Nobody believes war is the only way. We wait with great interest to see the deal you’re negotiating with the warmonger Iranian terrorist regime,” Levin posted on X.
Levin also attacked Witkoff for deploying anti-Semitic tropes, claiming that “neocon is a pejorative for Jews.”
The original neoconservatives were a collection of Democrat Party intellectuals who held hawkish views on the Soviet Union.
They joined the GOP but retained their support for the welfare state.
During the George W. Bush years, “neocon” became a shorthand for anyone who supported endless regime-change wars.
Tucker Carlson mocked Levin for attacking Witkoff, who is Jewish, for being an anti-Semite.
“If you’re calling Steve Witkoff an anti-Semite on Twitter, like, you know you’re losing, right?” Carlson joked.
That only enraged Levin even more, who now claimed Carlson was engaging in anti-Semitic slurs.
“You’re not a neocon; the neocons are dead! Now people use neocon — many people — innocently, they don’t know what it means. He [Carlson] knows what it means! And my point to our envoy was: why are you using word like that? Cause you don’t even know what it means, as do others. And so, the point was to let him know that it’s a pejorative, what it’s a pejorative for, and it’s unbelievable that he spews it, and he’ll keep spewing it, and others will too,” Levin stated.
“But I don’t have to pretend I’m Helen Keller! That I don’t see and I don’t hear, and neither do you! And neither do you. And there’s a whole pattern over there, with Chatsworth Osborne Jr., a whole pattern,” Levin added.
Mark Levin supports aggressive confrontations with Iran.
President Trump, Steve Witkoff, and Tucker Carlson understand the risks of war with Iran and prefer negotiations to solve the Iran nuclear crisis.
And President Trump is making major progress, announcing during his recent trip to the Middle East that he is “close” to a new nuclear deal with Iran.
