Someone should really inform Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass that her job is to protect the freedoms of the citizens of this nation, not foreign nationals who have broken federal immigration laws. However, considering this woman has proved time and time again she cannot be bothered to do the bare minimum of her job, this story is unsurprising.
According to reports on the interweb, ICE agents were doing what you voted for. Bass did not like this, so she allegedly tried to confront them during an immigration raid at MacArthur Park. Well, that’s what she claims. If I did not know any better, I would say her social media posts and videos are just a PR stunt to win over the most naive voters, but I do know better, so I won’t say that.
Also, it’s unclear what power she thought she had over these agents, as federal law tends to override politically correct ideology. Still, she really claimed she would try, despite proving to be more pathetic than we already realized.
LOLLOLOLOL. Did the person in charge stop after she allegedly demanded they do so? Because she claims she wasted ZERO SECONDS before making such a demand, and I can’t picture this in my head.
Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino said, “I don’t work for Karen Bass. Better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want in Los Angeles.”
So yeah, it checks out—this might have been a PR stunt, as the Border Chief clearly isn’t amused.
LOL. Sure buddy….
Maybe—just maybe—the mayor of Los Angeles will start representing the constituents who actually vote. But until then, don’t hold your breath.
