It is general thought a sign of good manners to bring a small and thoughtful gift when you visit someone else’s home. Benjamin Netanyahu brought a copy of a letter that he wrote to the Committee nominating President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize. It was a lovely gesture pointing to the mutual respect that the two men have for one another. It also set the right tone for the hard work Bibi and Trump have yet to do.
Netanyahu: I want to present to you, Mr. President, the letter I sent to the Nobel Prize Committee, nominating you for the peace prize, which is well-deserved

Don’t read the comments. The Anti-Semitism is strong on this feed.
The tenuous Israel-Hamas ceasefire is sort of holding for now. Trump wants to secure the peace. As long as Hamas has any power the Gazans have no future. Bibi is completely Israel First. From the New York Post:
Trump hosted Netanyahu at the White House for high-level meetings ahead of a private dinner between the two world leaders.
The Trump administration and Netanyahu’s team were expected to discuss the future of Gaza and the possibility of the Jewish state normalizing relations with Arab nations — but details of any potential progress made on both fronts were scant.
“I think our teams together make an extraordinary combination to meet challenges and seize opportunities,” Netanyahu said ahead of dinner with Trump.
“But the president has already realized a great opportunity to forge the Abraham Accords. He’s forging peace as we speak, and one country and one region after the other.”
Netanyahu met with Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Blair House, the president’s guest house, for an extended meeting, but a readout was not released.
Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff also met with the Israeli prime minister, but similarly, no details were made available about what was discussed.
Trump has pushed for Netanyahu to secure a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas that would also result in the release of hostages being held by the terror group in Gaza.
The prime minister, however, has insisted that Israel will not enter into any agreement that allows Hamas’ continued existence in Gaza — a massive sticking point in ending the war.
Netanyahu recently said his delegation meeting with mediators in Qatar has been instructed to reach a deal under those terms.
The Israeli prime minister also maintains that the Israeli military should occupy Gaza indefinitely, with the role of governors transferred to local officials without any known ties to Hamas or the Palestinian Authority, which governs the West Bank.
Meanwhile, Israel’s military launched airstrikes early Monday targeting ports and facilities held by Yemen’s Houthis, with the group responding with missile fire targeting Israel.
The Houthis should be looking over their shoulders. Bibi Netanyahu is right. Gaza should be Hamas free.
Naturally, the Two-State Solution came up from the press. The most ridiculous concept of the modern age. Only the Left could think that there could be a Two-State Solution between Israel and Hamas. The Hamas Charter calls for the destruction of Israel. Trump asked Bibi to set everyone straight:
President Trump on the possibility of a two-state solution:

The Israelis love life and are not suicidal. Hamas killed the Two-State Solution on October 7, 2023, along with Bibas family.
Before the Israeli Prime Minister headed to the White House, he first met with Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Blair House. Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon was at Bibi’s side.
We have to assume that Witkoff and Bibi discussed the nuclear talks with Iran. By the time they got to the White House, Donald Trump as having none of it. From the Times of Israel:
US Special Envoy to the Mideast Steve Witkoff says the first round of nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran since last month’s war between Israel and Iran will be held “in the next week or so.”
Fielding questions from reporters before his White House dinner with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump is asked about the talks, given that he has claimed for over a week that Iran is interested in holding talks.
“We have scheduled Iran talks, and they want to talk” after they took a “big drubbing,” Trump quips, referring to the US strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear sites.
Pressed if he has a date for the Iran talks, Trump responds: “I’d rather not say, but you’ll be reading about it tomorrow or seeing it tomorrow.”
Asked what the Iran talks will be about moving forward, Trump acknowledges that he doesn’t completely see a purpose for them, given his belief that Tehran’s nuclear program has been destroyed.
“But [the Iranians are] requested a meeting, and I’m going to go to a meeting, and if we can put something down on paper, that will be fine,” Trump says.
He reiterates his assertion that Iran’s nuclear program was “obliterated.”
It’s good to have red-blooded American men and women back in the White House. Gratitude!
