If this person really did, in fact, deliberately choose to stand in the street in front of oncoming traffic, then of course it’s her fault that she got hit by a car.
If it’s satire, then it’s a job well done!

Hudson Valley Woman Angry With Catskill Police After Being Hit By Car At No Kings Protest

A woman from Catskill, New York claims she was struck and injured by a moving vehicle while leaving a political protest earlier this month. In addition to being traumatized by this incident this woman is expressing her frustrations with Catskill Police Department.
According to a social media post, Jennifer Lee Tiernan, a resident of Athens, NY, had been attending the No Kings protest in Catskill on Saturday June 14th. Following the protest Tiernan says not only was she struck and injured by a vehicle she claims Catskill police are not assisting her with the case.
Jennifer Tiernan is upset that, as she says, the Catskill police took several days to get an accident report together, withheld information and never interviewed her. You can watch Jennifer Tiernan’s full Instagram video below to hear her side of what allegedly happened.
Tiernan goes on to say the Catskill police have given her a citation for being in the road and told her that it is her fault that, by “putting my human body in the street to be hit by a car”. Tiernan claims the individuals in the car that struck her screamed at her and she spent the rest of the day in the hospital.
