Death to All Retards

People underestimate just how bad things had become in America, Europe, and the United Kingdom by the mid-1980s. It was clear the ethnic Western Europeans were getting replaced by generic admixed Europeans from Southern, Eastern, Irish, and Mediterranean Europe.

Even more, it was clear that The System had taken over. In previous generations, you might have been able to find a path outside of official channels, but with the Boomers and onward, there was one path: go to education, get slotted for specialization, and then compete.

You marched up the punctuated equilibrium of ascending crenellations that was the struggle to get to the top of your group, and you competed rather than created: get the test scores, get the grades, get the internship, get the recommendation, and finally, get the title.

If you did not succeed at the educational system, you ended up an outsider who was going to work menial or manual labor jobs for the rest of their lives. This placed you closer to the ghetto or trailer park.

Where the “Greatest Generation” might have grown up on a family farm or living above the family store, Boomers grew up in the suburbs or urban areas and knew that there was a series of steps they had to take in life. Everything was predefined, prechewed.

They rebelled against it, not realizing that on a radial scale, moving 180° was still the same direction, just a different vector. The Boomers embraced edgy stuff like West Side Story, The New York Times, and the fusion of Revolutionary War, Civil War, and WW2 propaganda that became the American Dream and our vision of America as “individualistic freedom.”

In short, their lives were created by a narrative that even contained its contrarians; to rebel and be edgy was part of the freedom plan. They never made any decisions on their own, but reacted to options offered by The System. And they never came to know themselves, making them void people.

What got them to this point? Ethnic diversity, specifically other European ethnic groups replacing the ethnic Western European Nordic-Germanic Anglo-Saxons. That replaced culture with The System.

It is funny how many people you still find today in denial of that.

With culture, you have a set of principles based on the philosophy of your group, and everything else is a matter of what works. You think in eternal terms; you want your group to live forever, and you want to find meaning that resonates beyond the moment.

When you get one drop of diversity in a place, people start catering to the diversity lest they be seen as inhospitable. This is why the Judeo-Arabic view of social judgment as an arbiter of morality is so toxic: we think in terms of appearances, not function.

Even more, with diversity, social standards must be suspended. The poor bog-trotting potato person had no idea that you do not simply drink all day, or the poor wide-eyed Asiatic reformed jihadist just had no idea that you do not rape young girls at the pool. So they get a pass and we adjust our standards downward.

Everything that you see about the modern world, which is a rotted and horrible place with no future that makes its citizens demoralized and bitterly self-destructive, comes from decay, which originates in the lack of agreement on goals, at which point we settle on methods.

Plato writes it well. The gold and silver races — the genetic originals of his tribe, a smarter and healthier group — originally saw society as a collaboration toward an end. Then one day they stopped agreeing on what that goal was, so subsequent generations used money and power in its stead.

At that point, the middle class rises, and it does what the middle class always does, which is to resignedly and self-pityingly “manage” problems rather than exclude the rotted people before they rot the rest of society. After all, these could be customers!

Thus begins the rise of the managerial-administrative state, which eventually discovers scientific management, and in that Hegelian stepladder of responses to its initial assumptions, rationalizes itself into a state like diversity-socialism.

It is funny that such societies become so pretentious, because they have no shared values and the only power is in victimhood, that they go full retard and endorse political correctness as a means of avoiding conflict through mutual self-pity:

The resurgence of the r-word is symptomatic of a graver problem — the “apparent death of empathy,” said Adrienne Massanari, an associate professor at American University who has studied how the far-right uses tech to grow its influence.

“What you’re seeing now, people’s masks are off,” Massanari said. “This is not just misunderstanding but the mischaracterization and demonization of communities. The use of that kind of language is signaling a shift, a desire to sort of push the envelope.”

Push the envelope too far, she said, and the harm spills out into all marginalized communities. The r-word’s surging popularity is just the latest effort in a movement to normalize hate, she said.

This is the pretense of pacifism and individualism mentioned above. APE (altruism, pacifism, empathy) are how people manipulate each other using things that seem good, but in fact conceal a need for there to always be a moral judgment of others.

In nature, there is no such judgment. Things act in self-interest. When those self-interests overlap, you get love and civilization. When they do not, creatures part and venture different directions in the greying night.

But when you cannot call a retard a retard, your society has become anti-realistic. It refuses to notice that retarded people have had something go wrong in their development, therefore have incomplete brains, and therefore are a combination of ultra-stupid and ultra-insane.

Any sane society would euthanize retards. They serve no purpose except to absorb resources and depress everyone around them. They tend to be very destructive and often impulsively violent. Something went wrong; let natural selection take care of it.

However even more importantly, we need to be able to call things retarded that are a combination of stupid and insane. This society, for example, is retarded because in its zeal to manage problems through appearance-morality, it favors the dysfunctional victim over producing more functional people.

That is a path to self-destruction and therefore pursuing it is retarded, but our pretense has us chase that path every time because it looks good to the moralizing, judging, reactive, and sensation-driven group. They would rather feel good than be good.

Rains hit central Texas this week and flooded out a number of children’s camps. Immediately people are looking for scapegoats, but they only look at symbols that the group can agree on, not actually trace to see what is upstream of the crisis.

If they looked, they would see that the expansion of central Texas by Californians and New Yorkers had produced a massive boom in concrete and even more, in footprint. These communities now reach for hundreds of miles radiating out of Austin, for example.

All that concrete has consequences. The water that was absorbed locally gets passed on downstream, where it joins with others, forming a runaway chain reaction that becomes a flash flood. Sort of like the idea of moral judgment or means-over-ends scientific management, come to think of it.
