The Biden border crisis is finally getting the solution it deserves.
Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis just made good on their promise to secure America’s borders.
And Trump and DeSantis just unveiled one jaw-dropping facility that has illegal aliens terrified.
Trump and DeSantis team up for historic border security milestone
President Trump touched down in the Florida Everglades on Tuesday morning for a moment that will go down in history.
The Commander-in-Chief joined Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to officially open “Alligator Alcatraz” – the nation’s most secure immigration detention center.
Built in just eight days, this isn’t your typical government facility.
The detention center sits on 900 acres of some of the most unforgiving terrain in America, surrounded by alligators, snakes, and swampland that stretches for miles in every direction.
“There is only one road leading in and the only way out is a one-way flight,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced.¹
Trump couldn’t contain his excitement as he toured the facility with DeSantis, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and other top officials.
“It’s so professional and so well done,” Trump declared as he walked through rows of bunk beds lined up behind chain fences.²
The President made it clear this facility could serve as a blueprint for the entire nation.
“I’d like to see similar temporary facilities in many states,” Trump stated when asked if Alligator Alcatraz could be replicated elsewhere.³
DeSantis delivers the brutal truth about Florida’s immigration crackdown
Governor DeSantis didn’t mince words about what illegal aliens can expect if they end up at Alligator Alcatraz.
“They ain’t going anywhere once they’re there, unless you want them to go somewhere,” DeSantis explained with a grin.⁴
“Because good luck getting to civilization. So the security is amazing – natural and otherwise.”

The facility can house up to 3,000 illegal aliens and comes equipped with over 200 security cameras, 28,000 feet of barbed wire, and more than 400 security personnel working around the clock.
But here’s what makes this facility truly revolutionary.
DeSantis positioned it in the middle of the Big Cypress Swamp, about 50 miles west of Miami, where the only neighbors are deadly predators and miles of impassable wetlands.
Trump couldn’t help but joke about the natural security features during his remarks.
“We’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator if they escape prison,” the President quipped to laughter from the crowd.⁵
Secretary Noem delivered a stern warning to anyone watching who might be in the country illegally.
“You can still self-deport and get the chance to return to the United States legally in the future,” Noem said directly into the cameras.⁶
“If you don’t, you may end up here. And you may end up here and being processed, deported out of this country, and never get the chance to come back.”
The facility that has Democrats and activists in total meltdown
As expected, the Left immediately went into hysteria mode over Alligator Alcatraz.
Environmental groups filed lawsuits trying to block the facility from opening, whining about everything from light pollution to diesel fuel usage.
Protesters gathered outside the gates, including retired teacher Phyllis Andrews who drove in from Naples to complain about the “fine people” being detained.⁷
Former Republican-turned-Democrat David Jolly called it a “callous political stunt” – proving once again that Never-Trumpers will oppose anything that actually works.⁸
But Trump dismissed the environmental concerns with typical common sense.
“It’s not like you’re dropping dirt; this was already here,” the President explained.⁹
“I don’t think you’ve done anything to the Everglades.”
DeSantis backed up Trump’s assessment, pointing out that “there’s zero land being disturbed” since the facility was built on an existing airstrip.¹⁰
Trump hints this could become a permanent solution
While Florida officials initially described Alligator Alcatraz as temporary, President Trump suggested it might stick around much longer.
“The incredible thing is picking the site,” Trump said during his tour.¹¹
“It might be as good as the real Alcatraz, so I really think it could last for as long as they want to have it. You could morph this into the prison system.”
The President compared the facility favorably to traditional jails that take years to construct.
“[It’s] not that far away from jails that take years to build,” he noted.¹²
This sends a crystal clear message to anyone thinking about crossing America’s borders illegally.
The days of catch-and-release are over.
The era of putting illegal aliens up in fancy hotels on the taxpayer’s dime has ended.
Under Trump’s leadership, America is finally treating border security with the seriousness it deserves.
DeSantis summed up the choice facing illegal aliens perfectly: “Why would you want to come through ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ if you can just go home on your own? I think a lot of people are going to make that decision.”¹³
The first detainees are expected to arrive at the facility as early as Wednesday, marking the beginning of a new chapter in America’s immigration enforcement.
Between the natural barriers, state-of-the-art security, and round-the-clock monitoring, Alligator Alcatraz represents everything the American people voted for when they gave Trump his historic mandate.
No more games, no more excuses, and no more putting illegal aliens ahead of American citizens.
