INSIDER: Reeling Dems may be down for the count

While Americans were celebrating Independence Day with food, fun, family, and fireworks, perpetually miserable Democrats spent the day stewing in the juices of their own resentments.

Fresh off a brutal two-week stretch capped off by President Donald J. Trump’s Fourth of July signing of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” into law, the racists, scammers and scoundrels fumed, wondering how it could have all gone so wrong.

For a very brief moment, it appeared as if enough House Republicans would refuse to do the right thing by voting to pass Trump’s signature legislative package, giving the Democrats a badly needed political win by spoiling the day for the president and for productive Americans who stood to be hit with a massive tax hike.

But then Hakeem Jeffries started talking, and he didn’t stop for more than eight hours, tossing off a lie-filled litany of grievances that did nothing to stop the passage of the OBBB.

But Dollar Store Obama’s ridiculous delaying stunt may have backfired, and according to Vice President JD Vance, might have been responsible for convincing GOP holdouts to vote yes.

The bill passed 218-214, with only chronic refusenik Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ukraine-firster Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) joining with their friends on the other side of the aisle.

While the discombobulated losers struggle to get their legs back under them, there is already much wailing about the coming wave of deportations now that the OBBB will provide federal immigration authorities with money and additional tools to carry out Trump’s policies.

Bargain bin Barack declared that a “deportation machine that will be unleashed on steroids” and Democrats’ likely 2028 nominee Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had a panic attack, claiming that people are already being disappeared and that things will soon get much worse for the unwelcome foreign parasites.

The Dem freakout over the OBBB is understandable given the degree to which United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been beefed up to carry out its mission of deporting illegal aliens.

Having a sizeable chunk of their voters snatched up by federal agents and tossed into unmarked vans would be a nightmare scenario for the party which is no longer capable of winning elections through legitimate means.

It’s hard to overstate how damaging the bill’s success is for Democrats who devoted everything they had to sink it, only to impotently watch as their scare tactics, lies, and grandstanding came up empty. They will now have to peel themselves back up off the canvas and lie even harder while hoping that there are still enough gullible suckers and losers who will believe them and be galvanized to turn out in next year’s midterm elections.

With the Democrats’ ability to set the narrative through their corrupt media eroding daily, Trump and Republicans need to move on to the next big step by focusing on fortifying the midterm elections against cheating because that’s the only way that the party of AOC, Jeffries and Zohran Mamdani are going to be able to regain the upper hand.
