Another day, more violence in the city of Chicago.
This time, it was yet another drive-by shooting, with four fatalities and 14 wounded reported so far.
The incident took place late Wednesday evening.

When Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was elected, he said all the right things to get elected, then, after taking office, he turned into more of the same.
He spends more time railing in favor of illegal immigrants and criminals and against Donald Trump than he does taking care of this city.
Gun violence is still a problem in the city, as criminals rule the day, as it is yet another Democrat-run city that prefers to let criminals roam the streets rather than put them behind bars to serve their full sentence.
This shooting took place outside Artis Restaurant and Lounge on Chicago Avenue.
At last report, four people were dead, and at least 14 were injured, a body count that is likely to change as the situation continues to get sorted out.
Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling stated, “We as a Chicago Police Department want to make sure that we bring justice to these families, but we also want to make sure that we take individuals who are this violent and this careless off the streets.”
He later added, “We are continuing to gather facts about this. I don’t ever want to stand up here and give you information that we can’t prove concretely. Right now, everybody is working across the districts, across bureaus, and we’re going to make sure we get to the bottom of this.”
Mayor Johnson observed, “Shootings like these are a tragic reminder of how far we still have to go as a city.”
He continued, “This tragedy that we are working through today, again, this does not define us as a city. This is still the top destination for people around the globe.”
This is just another reminder of what Democrats do to once-great cities.
Philadelphia, the city in which I grew up and used to love, has been utterly destroyed by Democrats, chasing me west to Texas, where laws are actually enforced and criminals are held accountable.
New York is now having a come-to-Jesus moment, having chosen a democratic socialist to represent the Democratic Party in the upcoming mayoral election. He wants to buy up homes and turn the city into one big commune.
Detroit, San Francisco, St. Louis, Baltimore, and Camden are all overrun by crime, and these are just a handful of the cities with a long line of Democrat mayors, but the residents of these cities never learn.
They are programmed to vote “D” on the ticket and refuse to give Republicans a chance to turn their city around.
