Illegal aliens, noncitizens, migrants, immigrants and undocumented persons are sucking us dry. And the Big Beautiful Bill doesn’t look like it’s going to change that anytime soon.
You work. You pay taxes. You hope Social Security is still around by the time you retire – and that Medicaid will cover something besides aspirin and Band-Aids. And if
President Trump and DOGE had their way, Americans wouldn’t have to worry about such things.
But guess what? While we are all pinching pennies and trying to save something for our golden years, the federal government is handing out EBT cards (and lots of other things) like party favors to over 1.5 million noncitizens, according to a report by EPIC (Economic Policy Innovation Center).
That’s not a typo. One. Point. Five. Million. And just like every other report on freebies handed out to illegals, that number is probably well BELOW the reality of what is going on.
And Michigan? It’s not just playing along – it’s leading the charge. According to a Michigan News Source report, they say that noncitizen on food stamps in the state jumped 60% in 2023 with about 32,000 folks getting SNAP benefits costing taxpayers about $151.8 million a year. Lovely.
And as far as the Big Beautiful Bill goes, illegal aliens will continue to get benefits that our tax dollars pay for thanks to the Democratic Parliamentarian axing measures to exclude illegal aliens from public benefits.
It’s clear that even with Trump’s America First agenda, it’s often “America last, foreigners first” and there’s often absolutely nothing we can do about it.
