The liberal media, led by CNN, has once again demonstrated its bias by promoting an app designed to undermine federal immigration enforcement—while ignoring its creator’s extremist ties. Joshua Aaron, the self-described “nerd” behind ICEBlock, openly identifies as a “Proud #Antifa” supporter on his social media profiles, a movement notorious for violent riots, assaults on law enforcement, and destruction of private property. Despite Antifa’s well-documented history of chaos, CNN chose to platform Aaron without scrutinizing his radical ideology, instead allowing him to compare ICE to Nazi Germany.
Aaron’s app, which crowdsources real-time locations of ICE officers, effectively serves as a tool for illegal immigrants to evade arrest—directly obstructing federal law enforcement. ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons rightly condemned the app, warning that it “basically paints a target on federal law enforcement officers’ backs.” Yet, CNN dismissed concerns, claiming their coverage wasn’t an endorsement—a weak defense given their history of amplifying far-left narratives.
Aaron’s social media history reveals a disturbing pattern of Antifa glorification. In one post, he declared, “Once again we should all be #antifa. Why on earth would you support fascism?”—a common Antifa talking point that equates opposition to their violent tactics with fascism itself. In another, he dismissed Antifa’s organized violence as a “belief,” echoing Democrats like Joe Biden, who infamously claimed Antifa was “an idea, not an organization.” Law enforcement officials know better—Antifa’s victims, like journalist Andy Ngo, who was brutally assaulted in Portland, were attacked by real people, not an abstract “idea.”
Aaron’s extremism doesn’t stop at Antifa advocacy. In a profanity-laced 2020 rant, he spewed hatred toward Trump voters, shouting, “You have hate in your heart, you’re a fucking bigot, you’re a fucking racist, you supported kids in cages and you supported hatred.” This venomous rhetoric is typical of the left’s intolerance toward dissent, yet the same media that amplifies figures like Aaron routinely smears conservatives as the “real” extremists.
President Donald Trump has consistently stood against such lawlessness, vowing in 2020 to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization. While the liberal media and their Antifa allies push chaos, Trump champions law and order, securing the border and defending the rule of law. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: one side empowers violent radicals, while the other stands with the brave men and women of ICE.
