Sean “Diddy” Combs was found not guilty of the most serious federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, kidnapping, arson, and obstruction of justice in his New York criminal trial.
But the jury still convicted him on two felony counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution. The charges involved his girlfriends and male sex workers during what were described as drug-fueled hotel “freak-off” parties.
Each count under the Mann Act carries up to 10 years in prison. Combs remains in custody as prosecutors argue he is a danger to the public based on evidence of drug use, violence, and witness intimidation.
His legal team is calling this a victory. Prosecutors say it is far from over.
Is justice being served or protected?
