July 2 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – Sean “Diddy” Combs was denied bail today following his conviction on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. A New York federal jury found him guilty of these charges, though he was acquitted on the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking counts.
With sentencing set for October 3, 2025, Combs will remain in custody at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
The judge rejected bail (proposed at $1 million), citing Combs’s “propensity for violence” and public safety concerns.
Chaotic scenes unfolded throughout the afternoon, including a performance artist known as Crackhead Barney following influencer Sneako outside the courthouse. According to journalist @ScooterCasterNY on X, baby oil was sprayed outside the trial, specifically onto Crackhead Barney.
Crackhead Barney is known for her provocative, unscripted street performances across NYC and other states.
“This is Justice, this is Karma” reactions outside NYC Federal Court as Sean Diddy Combs Bail is DENIED.
Marc Agnifilo, Combs’s lead attorney, called the verdict a significant win and expressed confidence in his client’s future:
“Today is a victory of all victories for Sean Combs and our legal team.”
Mark Geragos spoke outside the court: “It’s a great victory for Sean Combs, it’s a great victory for the jury system.”
