Where does the time go??? I remember when this all began back in July of 2011 in our modest apartment in Grand Forks ND. I started with a really cheap microphone, some cheap Sony headphones and a decent laptop. I started broadcasting on Blog Talk Radio (dissolved in Jan. of this year) and another podcast site called Spreaker. It begain with the Johnny Storm Show which ended in March of 2016. Don’t Speak News would begin very small on YouTube in Oct. of 2016 but I didn’t begin really pushing it hard until after we moved in 2017.
In the beginning I had no clue about broadcasting on YouTube with video and the people in my circles didn’t use it at the time either but boy was that a big early mistake. I could’ve grown my audience much faster if I had used YouTube in the right way but the fellow broadcasters I knew didn’t even mention it. At the time Blog Talk Radio was the big deal because you could have people call into the shows and their software made it easy to use. I liked Spreaker a lot as well because the sound quality was better so at the time I used both in order to expand my reach.
It has been quite the journey and I can’t believe I’ve been doing it this long. Now with the website hosting renewal coming up it hit me that this was the 14 year anniversary of it all. While I began in the liberty movement thinking we could restore America by waking up the masses, I ended up where God wanted me all along, in the ministry warning people about the mark of the beast and the end times.
I’ll never forget the conversation I had with God in prayer about starting over in 2017 with Don’t Speak News. I didn’t see the point when Pizza Gate ended up getting channels deleted and shadow banning started. It didn’t make sense to me and I said so in my prayers. The message I got back was “you do the work and I will bring the audience”. It’s been that way ever since.
There have been many times I’ve wanted to give up (losing 2 15K YouTube channels hurt) and quit but that inner drive God gave me won’t let me. I am DRIVEN to keep this going for as long as He wills it, as long as He keeps giving me the grace to do it. After 3.5 years of these gut problems and other physical issues I’m having I know very well that it’s God’s grace keeping me alive. I could tell you some stories about why I shouldn’t be here but that’s for another time. For now let’s just say that by God’s grace go I and I would’ve been dead and buried a long time ago if not for His love and mercy.
That’s all for this post, I just wanted to reminise a bit as it really hit home today as I got a reminder email about the website hosting and domain name renewal.
