A Wisconsin Democrat is facing steep blowback for telling White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, a Jewish man, to go back to “1930’s Germany” when the Nazis were in power.
The hubbub started Wednesday when Miller posted a tweet in which he responded to the news that a communist had won the New York City Democrat mayoral primary race by warning of the dangers of uncontrolled migration:
NYC is the clearest warning yet of what happens to a society when it fails to control migration.

The tweet evidently upset Wisconsin Rep. Mark Pocan, a loon Democrat known for hassling gun manufacturers and calling for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be arrested for war crimes.
“Racist f–k,” he tweeted at Miller roughly an hour later. “Go back to 1930’s Germany.”
Racist fuck. Go back to 1930’s Germany.

As in go back to the time that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was in power.
The stunning reply to Miller’s post prompted a scathing statement from White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly.
“What an absolutely disgusting comment from a Congressman to a Jewish WH official,” she tweeted Thursday. “@MarkPocan must apologize — not just to Stephen, but to his constituents — and then seek professional help. This crazed antisemitic hatred from Dems emboldens radicals to target Jewish Americans.”
Critics on social media also pummeled Pocan.
Look:
“How racist of you! Go to a concentration camp!”
How the HELL are you a sitting congressman?

You are telling a Jewish man to go back to 1930’s Germany? And you are a a member of Congress? You should delete this sir.

Did you SERIOUSLY just tell a JEW to go back to 1930’s Germany? You know, to a time when being a Jew in Germany was a death sentence?

You debase politics with your vile intemperance, using 1930s Germany as a cudgel with which to insult Jewish people that disagree with you. You are a perfect example of how low American public debate has become,

This is appalling. It blows my mind that you’d even consider speaking like this to someone.
Doesn’t matter who it is or what they’ve said, you’d be immediately terminated within the private sector. You’re obviously mentally unfit for your role in congress.

Pocan has since refused to apologize, telling Politico that he won’t engage in a so-called “false debate” with the “people who make up the racist base of the GOP.”
“I’m confident normal people are as troubled by his views as I am, and understand he is doing Nazi-like things to people in the name of his extremist views,” he added. “They rounded up people in the 30’s, just as they are today with zero due process.”
The Nazis rounded up Jewish people out of pure racial hatred and spite, and for the purpose of murdering them in concentration camps. Conversely, the Trump administration has been rounding up illegal aliens to return them to their home countries. Big difference …
Also, speaking of normal people, Pocan seems to be anything but that. For example, after the House approved an annual defense bill in December that included language banning taxpayer money from going toward transgender procedures for kids, Pocan cried foul.
“Big Brother, big government attacks like those just don’t belong in this bill,” he told Politico, adding that his GOP colleagues prioritized so-called “right-wing extremist dogma over national defense.”
Meanwhile, in normal people’s reality, polls have consistently shown that a majority of Americans support a federal ban on all transgender procedures for kids.
Bad news for trans movement.
57% of Americans believe sex is determined at birth, including 53% of those 18-34 years old.
68% oppose puberty blockers for 10-14 yo
77% oppose discussing gender identity with K-3
66% say no trans in high school sports. https://t.co/p313WxFA4E pic.twitter.com/9CUATU20Is— Richard Hanania (@RichardHanania) May 5, 2023
According to one poll conducted by Noble Predictive Insights in October of last year, even 36 percent of Democrats supported banning such procedures.
