On June 20, 2025, volunteers with Return to Order successfully hand-delivered over 30,000 signatures from two separate petition drives addressed to the San Francisco Recreation and Parks.
The first petition protested a 45-foot-tall statue of a nude woman at the Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco. The second petition was directed against the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” a blasphemous group of men cross-dressing as nuns, who held an “Easter” event at a historic park near the San Francisco de Asís Mission Church.
R-Evolution Nude Statue
Called “R-Evolution,” the giant obscene statue was initially released in a “Burning Man” festival—an annual “art” event in Nevada where clothing is optional and public nudity is welcome. This statue is now placed in an area of San Francisco with significant foot traffic—in clear view of the public.
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence “Easter” Event
The event, held at Mission Dolores Park, was open to children. It featured a “costume” contest, where the often scantily-clad men were encouraged to dress in blasphemous mockeries of Jesus and Mary. According to reports:
“A San Francisco drag queen group called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a self-professed “order of queer and trans nuns,” is sparking controversy in the days leading up to their annual transgender Easter event.
Importance of Protest and Petitions
Hand-delivering signatures to officials sends a strong message that the public is holding them accountable for what they allow in their areas. Many times, events are canceled because officials see how unpopular they are. When officials know that a work or show is controversial, they usually think twice before allowing it.

Petitions serve as reminders for the leftists seeking to undermine the good moral order of society that, no matter where they are, the good are willing to stand up and boldly proclaim the truth.
