Judge Jeanine leaves Fox News to serve as prosecutor in the Trump administration

RINO North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis tanked Ed Martin’s nomination as the U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C.

Tillis announced he would oppose Martin’s nomination because Martin defended pardoning the Trump supporters who were persecuted by the weaponized Biden Justice Department over the January 6 hoax.

In an Oval Office meeting where he announced a new trade deal with the United Kingdom, Trump announced he was pulling Martin’s nomination and would name a replacement.

RINOs like Tillis and their swamp allies celebrated.

The U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. handles all the political corruption cases, and the swamp wanted an establishment pick in place to memorialize the double standard that allows the Democrats to flout the law in advancement of their own personal or political agenda while terrorizing Republicans carried on.

One example was IRS whistleblowers revealing that the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., denied bringing felony charges against Hunter Biden.

But the champagne was put back on the ice when, just hours later, Trump named Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro as his pick for the U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C.

The President cited Pirro’s long career as a prosecutor and judge as his reasons for choosing her.

“I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will be appointed interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. Jeanine was Assistant District Attorney for Westchester County, New York, and then went on to serve as County Judge, and District Attorney, where she was the first woman ever to be elected to those positions,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump added that Pirro understood that the criminal justice system existed to ensure law and order while also delivering justice to the victims of the crime.

“During her time in office, Jeanine was a powerful crusader for victims of crime. Her establishment of the Domestic Violence Bureau in her Prosecutor’s Office was the first in the Nation. She excelled in all ways,” Trump continued.

Jeanine Pirro’s appointment as U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. also means the two-tiered system of justice in political cases is over.

“In addition to her Legal career, Jeanine previously hosted her own Fox News Show, Justice with Judge Jeanine, for ten years, and is currently Co-Host of The Five, one of the Highest Rated Shows on Television. Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!” Trump declared.

Tillis drew the ire of MAGA for opposing Martin, and talk of a primary challenger immediately popped off.

As soon as President Trump named Pirro as his pick for U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C., Tillis posted a statement on social media announcing his support for Pirro.

“Jeanine Pirro has had a long and storied career as a prosecutor and she is a great choice by @POTUS to serve as U.S. Attorney for DC!” Tillis posted.

But Tillis also suffered a second humiliating defeat.

Tillis originally objected to Ed Martin for U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. because Martin supported pardoning the January 6 defendants.

And, not one to miss an opportunity to troll his adversaries, Trump then named Martin as the new pardoning attorney for the Justice Department – meaning he will now decide which pardons are recommended to President Trump, giving him even more power in the one area Tillis cited as his reason for going rogue.

“Ed Martin has done an AMAZING job as interim U.S. Attorney, and will be moving to the Department of Justice as the new Director of the Weaponization Working Group, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and Pardon Attorney. In these highly important roles, Ed will make sure we finally investigate the Weaponization of our Government under the Biden Regime, and provide much needed Justice for its victims. Congratulations Ed!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
