President Trump ordered a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
It was the biggest foreign policy decision of Trump’s presidency.
And Donald Trump was forced to correct this bad mistake about Iran.
Trump ordered 7 B-2 bombers to drop 14 bunker buster bombs on three Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The president declared the mission a success and that Iran’s nuclear capabilities were totally “obliterated.”
Trump’s strike also proved to be a one-off as Iran and Israel quickly agreed to a ceasefire, ending the prospect of an endless regime change war.
The deep state hungered for a wider war with Iran for decades.
Trump depriving the swamp of their goal of a forever war in Iran spurred a deep state leaker at the Defense Intelligence Agency to feed CNN and The New York Times a story that the strike was a failure that only set Iran’s nuclear program back “maybe a few months, tops.”
The implication was that Trump needed to order more strikes or to continue bombing Iran until the regime fell so the United States and Israel could install a new government that would give up the pursuit of nuclear weapons.
President Trump campaigned on keeping America out of endless wars in the Middle East.
And speaking to the press at the NATO summit, he called out the Times and CNN for running fake news about the Iran strikes as part of an effort to suck America back into another regime change effort.
Trump described the operation as “perfect” and ripped the media for attempting to degrade the execution of the mission by the B-2 pilots.
“We had a tremendous success, and this is the New York Times, I call it the failing New York Times. It’s going to hell. And CNN, which, as you know, very few people are watching. And you would think they’d do the opposite. You would think that they’d want to say, this was an unbelievable success. And the thing that hurts me is it’s really demeaning to the pilots and the people that put that whole thing together, the generals. That was a perfect operation,” Trump declared.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio was with the president and confirmed that the strike was a success that destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
Rubio said the leaker counted on the gullibility of reporters to run any fake story as long as they thought it would embarrass Trump.
“All this leaker stuff, these leakers are professional stabbers. That’s what they are. They go out and they read this stuff, and then they tell you what it says against the law, but they characterize it for you in a way that’s absolutely false. There’s no way Iran comes to the table if somehow nothing had happened. This was complete and total obliteration. They’re in bad shape. They are way behind today compared to where they were just seven days ago because of what the president did,” Rubio stated.
Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff fleshed out the details of the strike in an interview with Laura Ingraham.
“That conversion facility…was completely destroyed at Isfahan. It’s above ground. It was hit with a 30,000 pound bunker buster, and it could not survive that hit. So they have they have no conversion opportunity, and that means they cannot weaponize even if they’ve enriched to 90%,” Witkoff began.
Witkoff explained the below-ground nuclear at Natanz was “eviscerated.”
“Then there are two other nuclear reactors in Natanz, one above ground and one below ground. The below ground one we know we eviscerated,” Witkoff added, “and the above ground one, which had been hit by the Israelis and had been substantially damaged, we put another bomb on top of it, just to make sure that it was eviscerated.”
Fordow was the most challenging target, but the B-2s dropped 12 bunker bombs on the facility, which equates to 420,000 pounds of bombs.
Witkoff told Ingraham this was enough to destroy Fordow.
“And we know for a fact it was. Fordow is the last enrichment reactor that was operating there, and we put 12 bunker buster bombs on Fordow,” Witkoff concluded.
The Defense Intelligence Agency assessment was a low-confidence assessment as it was only based on satellite imagery and didn’t include any on-the-ground reporting.
But CNN and The New York Times were happy to run with any story they think will embarrass Trump.
