Sometimes we hear of couples getting divorced immediately after they got married and we wonder, “What could have really caused that? What went wrong for the newlyweds? ” Well, this Saudi couple, they just got a divorce right after they got married!
One of the saddest things a bride could ever hear.
For starters, arranged marriages still take place, despite the fact that most Americans probably can’t imagine it. That is why the only day they would meet and get to see each other for the first time is the day of their wedding.
However, a Saudi groom left everyone in disbelief at a wedding in Medinah, a town in western Saudi Arabia, including his new bride, by what he did during the festivities.
The newly wedded couple who had not met before the arranged marriage was about to pose for photographs after walking down the aisle and It was just moments after the veil was lifted to show him her face for the first time when this Saudi Arabian groom told his bride she just wasn’t what he imagined his bride to look like.
The groom finally got the chance to look at his new wife he said, “You are not the girl I imagined, I’m sorry – but I divorce you.”
The bride was reported to have collapsed and gone into full hysterics after hearing her new husband’s offensive remark. After hearing the husband’s remark, the wedding guests panicked and intervened to try to remedy the issue.

Since the release of the story on social media, many viewers expressed anger.
One user commented: “He caused her great pain through his irresponsible attitude, and he deserves to suffer. He should appreciate that beauty is in the character, not the face. Unfortunately many young people today are interested only in looks and ignore values and morals. May God give her a better husband who will appreciate her for who and what she is.”
