According to Representative Jasmine Crockett, she is the one who makes the call on Iran, per the Constitution. And no, she was not joking.
“I’m the one that’s supposed to make the f-ing decision, or at least get a vote,” she pathetically said.
Call me crazy, but I don’t believe this is a proper understanding of the powers of the legislative branch. And the fact that people applauded that is deeply concerning, as this proves there is no shortage of buffoons in our nation’s capital.
According to TNND:
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, on Tuesday shared her disapproval with President Donald Trump over his decision to attack nuclear sites in Iran without congressional approval.
Several Democratic lawmakers were outraged after Trump’s attack, leading Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to suggest he could be impeached. Rep. Crockett also expressed frustration, writing via X “Congress must authorize military force before any president—including Trump—launches a strike.”
“And to understand enough about the Constitution to the extent that I’m the one that’s supposed to make the f—ing decision, or at least get a vote,” she said in the clip.
Clearly, this woman doesn’t understand a thing — and she’d do herself a huge favor, and I mean a huge favor, if she just stopped talking. But she’s far too arrogant for that. She actually believes the President of the United States should have consulted her before making this decision. You honestly can’t make that level of delusion up.
That being said, someone should really let Jasmine know that a higher level of arrogance doesn’t equal a higher IQ.
