President Donald Trump unleashed a fiery barrage against his political adversaries Tuesday morning, directing most of his ire toward progressive Democrats, particularly Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), after she called for his impeachment in the wake of recent military strikes on Iran.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump responded to Ocasio-Cortez’s demand for impeachment over his authorization of precision airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. “Stupid AOC,” the post began, setting the tone for what followed.
Trump criticized Ocasio-Cortez as “one of the dumbest people in Congress,” and noted with sarcasm that Democrats have already impeached him twice. “They aren’t used to WINNING,” he wrote. “She can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again.”

Ocasio-Cortez had condemned the strike as a “grave violation” of the Constitution, arguing it bypassed Congressional war powers. “He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations,” she wrote. However, just days after the operation, Trump announced a ceasefire had been brokered between Israel and Iran, undercutting claims of long-term entanglement.
Trump didn’t stop with AOC. He also went after Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), labeling her a “seriously Low IQ individual” and mocking her recent criticism of the administration’s military decisions.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was again targeted, accused by Trump of doing “nothing but complain about our Country,” while Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was dubbed the “Palestinian Senator” in reference to his recent foreign policy positions.
The president then dared Ocasio-Cortez to move forward with impeachment. “She and her Democrat friends have just hit the Lowest Poll Numbers in Congressional History, so go ahead and try Impeaching me again, MAKE MY DAY!” he wrote, echoing the tone of a Clint Eastwood movie line.
Earlier in the day, Trump had expressed deep frustration with both Israel and Iran for ceasefire violations, remarking that the two countries had been fighting “so long and so hard that they don’t know what the [expletive] they’re doing.” He followed that by turning his rhetorical guns on domestic critics, making it clear that he had no patience left—foreign or domestic.
