Iran on Monday launched six missiles at a U.S. military base in Qatar, according to several news reports, which comes after the United States bombed nuclear facilities in Iran over the weekend.
The strikes are being reported by Fox News and the news outlet Axios, whose story is based on information from two unidentified foreign officials.
Iran has confirmed the attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, according to the Associated Press, announcing the strike in a television broadcast with the caption that it was “a mighty and successful response by the armed forces of Iran to America’s aggression.”
A missile has reportedly been launched at a U.S. base in Iraq, NBC News reported, but Iran has not confirmed the Iraq attack so far.
