All over all the news media, everyone is saying that US 30 ton bunker buster bombs are needed to destroy the Fordow uranium processing facility Iran built deep under a mountain to protect it, and some say “No, those bombs aren’t enough, the US will have to nuke it to reach it.
What’s with the single-minded focus on bombs? How do the scientists get inside? How does the felafal or whatever delivery guy get inside? Through the front door, that’s how.
It won’t take much to breach the entrance once the Iranian army is routed, and the way all the generals are getting killed off, who’s going to give orders to attack an invading force? Iran’s air defenses are destroyed, an invasion force could be flown in without meeting any resistance and air cover would prevent ground forces from reaching them.
Once the entrance is breached and troops ensure the way is clear for demolition teams, they move in, set charges and evacuate the premises, which then explode with enough force to collapse the mountain on top of it.
One way or another, regardless of negotiations, this underground facility will be destroyed. If the US won’t do it, Israel will send in their own troops and do it. Speculation abounds and Trump keeps making threats Putin-style and hinting that maybe this or possibly that but wait, this other could happen. I guess he’s having fun, playing with his power, but for the people of Israel who’s lives are at stake, some definite statements of pending actions would be a real blessing to them right now.
