JACKSONVILLE, FL – Exotic car enthusiasts and investors are reeling from alleged fraudulent activities linked to Bull Auto, a Jacksonville dealership known for high-end vehicles like Rolls-Royces and Lamborghinis. Customers claim they were swindled out of hundreds of thousands of dollars after engaging in transactions at the dealership.
The dealership’s owner, Vladimir Rain, managed operations in Jacksonville and another location in upstate New York, but has since vanished, leaving a trail of financial chaos. His partnership with the luxury car company Karma, based in Irvine, California, has been suspended amid the unfolding scandal.
Last week, scenes of chaos unfolded at Bull Auto’s New York location, where banks and customers scrambled to reclaim luxury vehicles. One customer, who captured the frenzy on video, reported seeing multiple repossessions as creditors descended on the dealership.
Back in Jacksonville, the situation mirrored the turmoil up north. A local buyer, who preferred to remain anonymous, recounted losing $260,000 on a McLaren. He discovered that the car’s VIN number was duplicated in another sale, raising suspicions of widespread fraudulent activities.
Further complicating matters, Karma dispatched representatives to retrieve ten cars from Bull Auto’s inventory, but only managed to reclaim five. Meanwhile, a bank representative searched in vain for two missing financed Lamborghinis.
Another victim, Michael Abbott from New York, took to social media to share his $250,000 loss on a Lamborghini. He found himself among a growing community of car enthusiasts who allege similar experiences with Bull Auto.
Despite the mounting allegations, Rain continued to conduct business until abruptly ceasing all operations. This sudden closure left many customers in the lurch, still trying to recover their investments.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating, with detectives suggesting the scale of the alleged fraud is larger than initially anticipated. The FBI is now involved, indicating the potential national reach of the investigation.
