While the United States homeland may be safely out of range of the missiles of the mad mullahs of Iran, the ayatollah could still reach out and touch Americans in a deadly way.
As the war between Israel and Iran intensifies and President Donald J. Trump considers his options to prevent the Islamic theocracy from creating a nuclear weapon, the longtime enemy could decide to unleash its vast network of terrorist sleeper cells.
“Americans should know that any military involvement by the U.S. will undoubtedly result in irreparable damage to them,” warned Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a cryptic threat that suggests that if the decision is made to join Israel’s war effort by bombing the heavily reinforced Fordow nuclear site located inside a mountain, there will be retaliation and the regime’s global network of fanatics will likely be activated.
“The very fact now that the Iranian regime is volatile, it’s targeted, and it’s highly vulnerable — that’s what actually makes it increasingly dangerous to the West, in that it has nothing to lose it has this about this sense of nihilism, and it affects the rational calculus,” warned Henry Jackson Society research fellow Barak Seener on a Wednesday call with the America-Middle East Press Association, according to the New York Post.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also recently expressed concern that Iran could mobilize its terrorist sleeper cells, telling Fox News host Harris Faulkner that the Iranian leadership “has been working in nearly every country around the world, including the United States of America, to plant little terror cells all across the world.”
Conservative influencers have also been sounding the alarm amid escalating tensions.
“There’s a very real risk of Iranian sleeper cells attacking the US on our soil. I would avoid taking your family to large gatherings at the moment out of an abundance of caution until things settle down. Security must be increased all around,” filmmaker and anti-corporate DEI warrior Robby Starbuck warned.
“Keep your head on a swivel. Biden let millions of people into America. Iran might activate some sleeper cells against Americans,” Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk said on X last week.
It is unknown how many Iranian sleeper cells are currently inside the country; the number could be considerable due to four years of non-existent border control under the Biden administration.
Whatever the number of fanatical jihadists who could be unleashed at any time, they could be greatly augmented by a veritable army of internal domestic enemies, leftists who are hellbent on destroying America from within and could ally themselves with Iranian terrorists by taking advantage of attacks to exploit the chaos to carry out their own sabotage and destabilization efforts.
The Democrat Party’s shock troops are already revved up and ready to rile in anticipation of a hot summer that could rival that of 2020 when violent race riots raged across the country over the death of junkie and lifelong black criminal George Floyd.
Just last weekend, the “No Kings” protests put hundreds of thousands of foot soldiers in the streets, drawing massive crowds in cities like Chicago and Los Angeles.
There have also been destructive anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles with Mexican-flag-waving mobs torching cars and destroying property, prompting Trump to deploy the National Guard and hundreds of Marines to restore order.
With the color revolution machine well-drilled and ready for action, Iranian terrorists could count on them to be a force multiplier upon their activation if war breaks out, if not having them join forces for a shared cause with both having the same ultimate goal: the destruction of America.
In addition to the anti-Trump left-wing insurgents, there are millions of illegal aliens – many of the military-aged men and criminals – who could also team up with the Iranians.
The question is, would they?
Given the worst case scenario of Iran attacking U.S. military personnel, Navy ships or American civilians, forcing Trump into joining the war, then wartime will unlock a whole toolbox that would allow him to destroy the cancerous left, including uprooting their funding and organizational networks, some of which likely derive funding from overseas (possibly even from Iran) and have shown sympathy to Hamas and other such groups.
The government could get a good jump on the work by paying very close attention to left-wing protests and by identifying the players, mapping out funding and scrutinizing organizers of the nascent movement against the legitimately elected U.S. leadership, starting with “No Kings” which had the backing of elected members of the Democratic Party, many of whom have also whipped up antisemitic mobs and expressed open support for the eradication of Israel.
It’s not as if there haven’t been crackdowns before.
In the aftermath of World War I, President Woodrow Wilson carried out the Palmer Raids to target subversive anarchists and socialists, deporting them to get them out of the country. In WW II, although it remains highly controversial to this day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt had Japanese-Americans put into internment camps out of an abundance of caution that they could be loyal to Japan’s war effort.
There’s also the option to take El Salvador President Nayib Bukele up on his offer to take “dangerous criminals” who are U.S. citizens, and those who have already been organizing and leading riots need to be locked up.
It would greatly aid in the protection of Americans in the event of war and Iranian infiltration to keep close tabs on the militant leftists who share a common cause so they can be swiftly dealt with if jihadi suicide bombers start to detonate themselves.
Hey, it was only a few short years ago that leftists were calling for vaccine resisters to be rounded up and thrown into concentration camps, so the idea is already out there, and this time, it’s a matter of national security.
